  • Patent number: 10232986
Abstract: A moisture-tight, re-sealable container is disclosed having a lid and body. The lid and body have a non-round seal that is substantially moisture tight when the lid is seated on the body, admitting less than 1000 micrograms per day of water to a package. A reinforcement stiffens or reinforces at least a portion of the seal against inward deflection along an axis defined by the minor diameter when the lid is seated on the body. Optionally the reinforcement is at least one spline subdividing the reservoir. A method of making dispensers for objects of varying length to customize particular dispensers to dispense such objects of a particular length is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10221602
Abstract: A vacuum system for use in excavation operations. The system uses a tank having an open end that is closed by a door. The door is opened and closed by a door lifting assembly made up of an upper linkage arm, a lower linkage arm and a hydraulic cylinder. A socket is formed in the upper linkage arm, and a shaft housing is formed in the lower linkage arm. The shaft housing engages with the socket to latch the door closed. The upper linkage arm is attached to the door at a first pivot axis and is attached to the lower linkage arm at a second pivot axis. The lower linkage arm is attached to a side of the tank at a third pivot axis. When the door is open, the second pivot axis extends below a reference plane that contains the first and third pivot axis.

  • Patent number: 10207863
Abstract: An apparatus for sealing a vacuum tank door. The apparatus comprises a circular flange attached to a door panel of a vacuum tank, a horizontal crossbar connected to the center of the door panel and a lifting assembly. The lifting assembly comprises an upper linkage arm, a lower linkage arm, and a hydraulic cylinder. Activation of the hydraulic cylinder causes the linkage assembly to move downwards pulling on the horizontal crossbar and pulling the vacuum tank door towards the tank. Activation of the hydraulic cylinder also causes a connection point of the lower linkage arm and the upper linkage arm to move over-center of the connection between the lower linkage arm to the to the tank creating a tight seal between the vacuum tank door and the tank.

  • Patent number: 10106288
Abstract: Provided is a container whose shape for discharging contents is hardly expandable laterally, the container including a container body holding contents and a lid member for closing an opening of the container body which are sealed with each other by an annular seal portion formed along a flanged face of the opening. At a specified position of the annular seal portion, there is provided a detaching seal portion which is to be detached by an increase of inside pressure inside the container body in association with deformation of the container body based on an external force. An outflow channel for discharging the contents therethrough extends radially outwards from the detaching seal portion. At a position of the container body corresponding to the outflow channel of the flanged face, there is formed an outflow groove which is sunk toward a bottom portion of the container body.

  • Patent number: 10093471
Abstract: Provided is a container that allows a portion where detachment starts to be fixed at a specified position in a more reliable manner, thus allowing contents to be discharged in a direction expected by a user, allowing eventually reduction in the amount of contents to remain in the container in the end. The container includes a container body holding contents therein and a lid member, the container body and the lid member being sealed by an annular seal portion formed along a flanged face of the opening. There is provided a detaching seal portion which is detached in response to increase of pressure inside the container body associated with deformation of the container body. The detaching seal portion includes a reverse-oriented annular seal portion which occupies a part of a width of the flanged face and which projects toward a radial inner side of the opening.

  • Patent number: 10086980
Abstract: An object is to provide a container sealing device which can perform an opening of an inner plug with a clear opening feeling. An inner plug 10 is assembled in advance to an upper closure 20 by using a second screwing part 52. At this time, since an assembling interval between a separation part 12 and the upper closure 20 can be adjusted by tip end parts 16t and 20u of a cylindrical part 16 which are first stoppers and the small-diameter cylinder part 20d, the second screwing part 52 can be brought into a lock state of being screwed to the deepest position or a state close to that. In opening the plug, the first screwing part 51 is loosened the second screwing part 52 is tightened, and the separation part 12 can be rapidly and reliably separated from a body part 10b of the inner plug 10.
