Abstract: A sliding switch having a tandem-type contact structure in which a first and a second insulation portion are disposed in a first and a second negative fixed contact, respectively, of a first and a second group of fixed contacts. When a first and a second movable contact slide between a neutral position and a first operating position, an arc is produced between the first movable contact and the first negative fixed contact in which the first insulation portion is disposed. When the first and the second movable contact slide between the neutral position and a second operating position, an arc is produced between the second movable contact and the second negative fixed contact in which the second insulation portion is disposed. A decline in the insulation performance between the fixed contacts of different polarities is prevented.
Abstract: A filing and organizing device for vehicle seats having a front panel, a rear panel, and first and second flexible side walls extending from the front panel to the rear panel. A flexible bottom extends across an area formed by the panels and the side walls so as to define a central receiving area. A plurality of divider panels are removably affixed to the side walls and positioned in generally parallel relationship to the panels. An attachment belt is connected to the rear panel for removably attaching the device to a car seat. Each of the panels and the dividers have different sizes. The dividers are supported on tracks positioned along the inner surface of the side walls. A strap is provided so as to extend from the rear panel across the front surface of the front panel for affixing the position of the front panel with respect to the rear panel.
Abstract: A limit switch is disclosed which comprises an operating lever, a rotary shaft which is driven by the operating lever, a first cam and a second cam as mounted on the rotary shaft for transformation of rotary motion into linear motion, a return spring for applying a returning force to the operating lever through the rotary shaft, a plunger operatively associated with the cams for turning a basic switch ON or OFF and a plunger holder for holding the plunger axially movable but not rotatable. The plunger having a plurality of integral projections corresponding to cam projections of the respective cams and disposed between the cams. The plunger is rotatable about its axis through the plunger holder to switch the ON-OFF mode of the basic switch.
Abstract: A reinforced flexible duct, particularly for transporting pressurized fluid having an internal pressure reinforcement and a traction resisting reinforcement. The internal pressure reinforcement is wound at a high angle with respect to an axis of the duct and the traction resistant reinforcement comprises at least a pair of crossed layers wound at an angle of at most equal to 55.degree.. A ratio of stiffness traction resisting reinforcement to a stiffness of internal pressure resisting reinforcement is between 2.5 and 8 with a winding angle of the pair of cross layers of the traction resisting reinforcement having a value of between 20.degree. and 50.degree.. A ratio K.sub.t /K.sub.p of stiffness and the winding angle .alpha.
Abstract: An adjustable and universal grab bar assembly for a tub or the like. The bar assembly includes a bar having a relatively straight central portion and angled ends. The ends rotate within end holders bolted or otherwise secured to the wall of a tub or the like. The configuration of the end holders, and the angularity of the angled ends, is such that the grab bar assembly may be mounted to irregularly shaped surfaces, such as curved, angled, etc., yet provide a suitable space between the bar and the surface to enable a user to grasp the same.
