  • Patent number: 10087993
Abstract: A claw coupling includes two coupling elements disposed in opposite relationship and having confronting end face surfaces from which claws engage alternately into one another. A pressure body ring, disposed between the two coupling elements, includes a ring element and pressure bodies which project radially outwards from the ring element and are respectively received between two adjacently disposed claws of the coupling elements. Some pressure bodies have each an axially projecting spacer with a contact surface which, when a predefined torque is transmitted via the claw coupling, is pressed against a contact surface area of the end face surface of an adjacent coupling element. The contact surface area is slanted or curved such that, in a no-load state of the claw coupling an axial distance between the contact surface of the spacer and the contact surface area of the end face surface increases in a radially outwards direction.

  • Patent number: 10077798
Abstract: A torque transmitting shaft includes a first member and a second member. The first member has an inner surface that defines a plurality of engagement elements. The second member has a first end portion, a second end portion, and an intermediate portion. The first end portion of the second member defines a splined portion. Each member of the splined portion is received within corresponding engagement elements of the plurality of engagement elements. Each member of the splined portion includes a first protrusion that engages the inner surface of the first member.

  • Patent number: 10036427
Abstract: A constant velocity joint boot assembly includes a boot that may be positioned around a constant velocity joint on a vehicle. The boot has a longitudinal cut. Thus, the boot may be selectively placed around the constant velocity joint when the constant velocity joint is mounted to the vehicle. A zipper is coupled to the boot. The zipper closes the boot around the constant velocity joint. The zipper extends beyond the first end of the boot and the second end of the boot to define a pair of free ends of the zipper. Each of the free ends of the zipper is rolled up when the zipper is closed. Thus, the zipper may resist being contaminated thereby enhancing functionally of the zipper over time.

  • Patent number: 10030799
Abstract: A pipe joint for coupling to at least one pipe is disclosed in the present invention. The pipe joint includes a main body and at least one positioning socket. The main body has a runner and at least one opening communicated with the runner. The runner has an insertion area adjacent to the opening. The positioning socket has a head, an inserting portion, a pipe channel, a radial threaded hole and a bolt. The inserting portion is inserted into the runner via the opening. The pipe channel runs through the head and the inserting portion in an axial direction of the positioning socket. The threaded hole is formed on the head and communicated with the pipe channel. The bolt is adapted to engage with the threaded hole for abutting against the outer surface of the pipe.

  • Patent number: 10024467
Abstract: Fittings, including elbow fittings and Tee fittings have bodies that surround a central space and define openings to receive pipe elements. Ribs surround the openings, and gaps are positioned between the ribs to permit deformation of the body when ends of the body in facing relation are brought together. The body may be formed of two housings or unitary in construction. The ribs may be grooved to accommodate toothed retainer rings providing mechanical engagement with pipe elements. The ribs have surfaces with radii of curvature that, when the ribs are undeformed, are substantially equal to the radii of curvature of the pipe elements they engage.

  • Patent number: 10012287
Abstract: A powertrain mechanism in a vehicle having an internal combustion engine. The powertrain mechanism is provided for transmitting power from the engine to a gearbox. The mechanism includes at least one drive plate and at least one connection hub. The hub has an assembly section disposed in at least one assembly opening provided in the vicinity of the center of the drive plate. At least one protrusion upper section defines at an uppermost section of at least one protrusion provided mutually on an inner wall of the assembly opening and on an outer wall of the assembly section. At least one recess base defines at a lowermost section of at least one recess wherein the at least one protrusion is at least partially placed. The powertrain mechanism further includes at least one movement gap provided between the protrusion upper section and the recess base.
