Abstract: A nursing bottle having a rigid body, an open end, and an aperture, a flexible liner suspended from the open end of the body, a feeding nipple attachable to the open end of the body. An attached, slidably engagable, pump for pumping air into the chamber between the liner and body. The pump pressurizes the chamber and expels air from the liner. An air regulating device permits airflow in and out of the chamber in restricted quantity, so when pressure is applied to the pump, there is an increase of pressure within the chamber to force out the air trapped within the liner. The pump, also fashioned to be the protective storage hood for the nipple.
Abstract: A soybean sprout package comprising a bag having an open end portion, with multiple soybean sprouts clustered in the bag, the sprouts having elongated stems, the stems generally extending in the same direction at the open end portion, thereby enabling the user to readily grasp the stems as a bundle when the bag is opened.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for frying food is comprised of a housing provided with a receiving opening in which foodstuff to be fried is inserted. The foodstuff is directed to a perforated frying basket which is displaced upon actuation of a switch by the user into a frying pot containing hot oil. While the basket is in the frying pot, it is being shaken to provide more even cooking and to prevent the foodstuff from sticking together. After the frying cycle the frying basket is displaced to a position above the frying pot where the basket is again shaken to drip oil from the foodstuff and the basket into the frying pot. The basket is then conveyed to a discharge position where a chute directs the fried foodstuff to a discharge opening where a container has been placed to receive the fried foodstuff.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for producing cut fresh curd blocks, wherein curd blocks are formed using at least one block former, are subsequently packaged and are discharged for further handling, wherein a curd block after leaving a block former is placed in a conveying holder, the conveying holder is brought to a pressing station, and the curd block in the conveying holder is briefly pressed and subsequently transported further.
Abstract: Method and apparatus for producing packed fresh curd blocks, wherein curd blocks are formed using at least one block former, subsequently packaged and discharged for further handling, wherein a curd block after leaving a block former is placed in a conveying holder, the conveying holder is conveyed via suitable first conveying device to an automatic packaging apparatus, and the curd block is removed from the conveying holder at the automatic packaging apparatus and subsequently packaged.
Abstract: Dough products are stored in a fermentation chamber on a rack system in which in each of a multiplicity of horizontal planes located one above the other, the palettes carrying the dough products are substantially contiguous and are pushed from rack to rack section from the upstream side to the downstream side upon the insertion of a palette at the upstream side. The empty palettes are recirculated below the palettes carrying the dough products and the displacement is effected solely by pressing of each upstream palette against the next downstream palette.
Abstract: A method of feeding an infant utilizing a nursing bottle, having a resilient shell body with at least one aperture, a flexible liner, and a feeding nipple that utilizes air pressure to expel trapped air from a liner. That when the aperture or apertures are covered by the operator's finger or hand, and pressure is applied to the shell body, air trapped in the liner can be expelled prior to feeding the infant.
