  • Patent number: 10145536
Abstract: A T-bar type support extends in elongate form and is configured, such as with a spine and rest shelf, for supporting edges of ceiling tiles thereon within a suspended ceiling system. A lighting module is suspended below other portions of the T-bar. The T-bar also includes a reflector plate above the body which extends at least partially laterally and below where the ceiling tiles are supported. A lighting source within the lighting module shines light upwardly which then reflects off of the reflector plate and down into an interior space beneath the suspended ceiling. Legs preferably suspend the lighting module below the reflector plate, with the legs preferably at ends of the T-bar, and with open space between the legs, so that nothing obstructs light shining from the lighting source up against the reflector plate and then down into the interior space beneath the ceiling.

  • Patent number: 10139652
Abstract: Eyeluminators will provide the illumination needed when working in dim or dark places. They are basically state-of-the-art flashlights for your eyes! When the LED lights in the frames of these glasses are switched on, the user will have bright light wherever they look, and without the inconvenience of having to hold a flashlight and eliminating shadows caused by any other light source. Tiny LED light bulbs are embedded across the top of the frames of these glasses, with the power switches located on the earpieces. They have cushioned nose pads and frames to provide greater comfort when wearing them for extended periods of time. When the lights are switched on, bright light will illuminate whatever is in front of the person's face, so they have a very clear view ahead and shadows will not be a hindrance.

  • Patent number: 10119682
Abstract: The invention provides a luminaire comprising an optical element configured to spread light uniformly across a full visible face of the luminaire. The optical element comprises a central region and an outer peripheral region, each configured to receive light emitted by a light source arrangement and to direct this light out through a respective region of the light exit area of the luminaire. The central region receives light through a central transmissive surface portion which partially bounds it across its top. A further reflective tapered portion of the central region acts to reflect light incident at either of its two opposing sides, and provides a mixing function both within the central region of the optical element and within an inner compartment of the luminaire which extends between the optical element and the housing.
