Abstract: System and computer-implemented method for analyzing software-defined data center (SDDC) components in a computing environment uses network traffic data, which is correlated with an inventory of SDDC components in the computing environment to calculate a metric collection parameter for each SDDC component in the computing environment based on data flow associated with that SDDC component. Relevant metrics from each of the SDDC components in the computing environment are collected according to the metric collection parameter for that SDDC component to analyze the SDDC components.

Abstract: Techniques of network configuration verification are disclosed herein. One example process includes, upon receiving a query to determine whether a packet from a first endpoint is reachable to a second endpoint in a virtual network, identifying a network path between the first endpoint to the second endpoint in a network graph. The network graph has nodes representing corresponding enforcement points of network policies in the virtual network and edges connecting pairs of the nodes. The example process can also include generating compound function representing conjoined individual constraints of the network policies at each of the nodes in the network graph along the identified network path, compiling the generated compound function into a Boolean formula, and solving the compiled Boolean formula to determine whether an assignment of values to packet fields of the packet exists such that all the conjoined individual constraints of the compound function can be satisfied.

Abstract: Systems and methods for a VLAN switching and routing service (VSRS) are disclosed herein. A method can include generating a table for an instance of a VSRS, which VSRS couples a first virtual layer 2 network (VLAN) with a second network. The table can contain information identifying IP addresses, MAC addresses, and virtual interface identifiers for instances within the virtual layer 2 network. The method can include receiving with the VSRS a packet from a first instance designated for delivery to a second instance within the virtual layer 2 network, identifying with the VSRS the second instance within the virtual layer 2 network for delivery of the packet based on information received with the packet and information contained within the table, and delivering the packet to the identified second instance.

Abstract: Computer-implemented methods, media, and systems for remediation of containerized workloads based on context breach at edge devices are disclosed. One example computer-implemented method includes monitoring telemetry data from a first software defined wide area network (SD-WAN) edge device, where the telemetry data includes multiple context elements at the first SD-WAN edge device. It is determined that a context change occurs for at least one of the context elements at the first SD-WAN edge device. It is determined that due to the context change, the first SD-WAN edge device does not satisfy one or more requirements for running one or more workloads scheduled to run. In response to the determination that the first SD-WAN edge device does not satisfy the one or more requirements, the at least one of the one or more workloads is offloaded from the first SD-WAN edge device to a second SD-WAN edge device.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an intelligent cataloging method for all-media news based on multi-modal information fusion understanding, which obtains multi-modal fusion features by unified representation and fusion understanding of video information, voice information, subtitle bar information, and character information in the all-media news, and realizes automatic slicing, automatic cataloging description, and automatic scene classification of news using the multi-modal fusion features. The beneficial effect of the present disclosure is that it realizes the complete process of automatic comprehensive cataloging for the all-media news, and improves the accuracy and generalization of the cataloging method, and greatly reduces the manual cataloging time by generating stripping marks, news cataloging descriptions, news classification labels, news keywords, and news characters based on the fusion of multi-modes of video, audio, and text.

Intra-group connections are constructed by connecting the nodes of each group according to a first complementary base graph. Inter-group connections are constructed based on a second complementary base graph and a plurality of permutation matrices. Each permutation matrix represents a pattern for selecting source group and destination group for each inter-group connection. One permutation matrix is randomly assigned to each edge of the second complementary base graph. An inter-group connection is constructed by identifying a source node and a destination node corresponding to a selected edge of the second complementary base graph, and identifying a source group and a destination group according to the permutation matrix assigned to the selected edge.
