  • Patent number: 9611636
Abstract: A vacuum truck for dispensing water into a sewer or similar location and receiving recovered water from the sewer that includes debris to be removed therefrom. The vacuum truck includes a debris tank that receives the recovered water and retains debris removed from the recovered water. A primary and a secondary filter are positioned in the debris tank for separating debris from the recovered water. A water pump draws the recovered water through the secondary filter and provides the water to a tertiary filter that removes smaller debris from the recovered water. The recovered water from the tertiary filter is provided directly to a jetting water pump without being accumulated in a water holding tank. The vacuum truck includes a water storage tank that includes potable water for cleaning the truck or when recovered water is not available from the debris tank.

  • Patent number: 9469011
Abstract: A grinder includes a rotatable disk to be pressed to a workpiece; a plurality of grinding bodies provided on one principal surface of the disk so as to cross a circumferential direction of the disk, each having a grinding stone chip on a side contacting the workpiece; and support devices, each supporting each of the grinding bodies so that the grinding stone chip swings with respect to the principal surface. Each support device supports each grinding body at a position at which an abrasion amount of the grinding stone chip is made uniform when the disk is rotated while being pressed to the workpiece so that a pressure to be applied to the grinding stone chip on an outer peripheral side of the disk becomes smaller than a pressure to be applied to the grinding stone chip on an inner peripheral side of the disk.

  • Patent number: 9419418
Abstract: A wire-pulling device, in particular for laying electric cables in a building, comprising a frame (16), a spool of a flexible elongate element (6a) wound into a coil, and means for unwinding the member and advancing same into a section of a duct of an electric facility. The spool is mounted on a rotary drum (2) driven by a mechanism (13). The drum (2) has a U-shaped section in which the flexible elongate member is located. The flexible elongate member is fed into a rigid guide member arranged tangentially relative to the periphery of the rotary drum. The drum (2) drives a set of guide rollers (19) arranged at the periphery thereof. Each roller has a central section (3) having a diameter that is larger than that of the side sections (4) thereof that surround same. The two side sections engage with the ends of the arms of the U while the central section contacts the flexible elongate member (6) arranged between the arms of the U.

  • Patent number: 9412637
Abstract: A device wafer includes a device area where a plurality of devices are formed on the front side of the device wafer and a peripheral marginal area surrounding the device area. Each device has an adhesion disliking region disliking adhesion to an adhesive tape. An ultraviolet curable protective tape is attached as the adhesive tape to the front side of the device wafer. Ultraviolet radiation is applied to a first area of the protective tape corresponding to the adhesion disliking region of the device wafer to thereby reduce the adhesive force in the first area. The ultraviolet radiation is not applied to a second area of the protective tape corresponding to the peripheral marginal area of the device wafer to thereby maintain the adhesive force in the second area. The device wafer is held through the protective tape while the back side of the device wafer is ground.

  • Patent number: 9393668
Abstract: Among other things, one or more techniques and/or systems are provided for driving a body of a polishing head using an alignment gear. That is, an alignment gear, coupled to a housing of the polishing head, can transfer rotational force from the housing to the body responsive to the alignment gear being mated with a channel associated with the body. For example, the housing can supply pressure to the body, resulting in the body and the housing moving towards one another into a mated state. When the body and the housing are in the mated state, the alignment gear can mate with the channel (e.g., the alignment gear can fit within the channel). In this way, the alignment gear can drive the body by transferring rotational force to the body, resulting in the body rotating a semiconductor wafer against a polishing pad to polish the semiconductor wafer, for example.
