    Abstract: The present invention is a pack to be carried on a person's back and includes a packable compartment having an inwardly slanting back surface upon which accessories may be mounted so that at least a portion of the mounted accessory will be located proximate to the carrier's shoulder and within easy over-the-shoulder reach by the carrier. It also provides a means by which the rotational orientation of the accessory may be varied with respect to the compartment to further enhance the combination's ability to place mounted accessories proximate the carrier's shoulder and facilitate right and left handed users. In one embodiment, the accessory is a quiver used to carry arrows. Still further, the present invention may be variably configured to conform to different persons' body structure and posture.

    Abstract: A backpack provided in combination with a seat unit in which the seat unit may be completely separated from the back pack when it is desired to use the seat unit and when in its storage condition is compactly contained within an auxiliary compartment of the back pack. The seat unit may also be used while it is connected to the back pack, with a portion of the back pack re-positioned to provide a cushion for the seat. The seat unit is formed of a pair of pivoted leg sections, which support a flexible seat, and is secured to a planar support member for the emplacement of the seat unit within the back pack.

    Abstract: A strap for positioning a cane when it is not in use includes a retaining strap adapted to be secured around a cane and a flexible sling strap secured to the retaining strap and defining a sling for positioning or retrieving the cane. A releasable fastening member is secured to the retaining strap and adjustable between an open and closed position wherein the retaining strap is secured around the cane in the closed position.
