The toner has an average roundness of no less than 0.965 and no greater than 0.975. The toner contains less than 0.5% by number of toner particles having a roundness of no greater than 0.85. The toner has a displacement rate of no less than 0.50% and no greater than 0.70% as measured in a micro-compression test that is performed on the toner under specified conditions.
