  • Patent number: 9910172
Abstract: A digital radiographic detector uses predetermined calibration information corresponding to a first operating temperature of the detector. The calibration data is accessible by the detector to compensate a radiographic image captured by the detector at a second operating temperature different than the first operating temperature. The operating temperature of the detector is monitored at approximately the time at which the radiographic image is captured at the second temperature.

  • Patent number: 9907979
Abstract: An existing radiation treatment plan is accessed for a given patient as well as first information (such as automatically generated updated information) regarding at least one physical characteristic as corresponds to the radiation treatment of this patient. One then initiates, prior to receiving second information (such as user input) regarding the first information, an automatic adaptation process to adapt the treatment plan to accommodate the first information. Upon later receiving second information regarding the first information, one then modifies the automatic adaptation process itself to incorporate the second information regarding the first information.

  • Patent number: 9895125
Abstract: A computed tomography scanner has multiple radiation sources or source arrays, in specific geometric dimensions for optimized imaging speed. A CT system with maximum fan-angle ? and K simultaneously active x-ray sources distributed over an angle of ??2? radians, the sources partially overlapping on a detector array, measures summed projection data corresponding to K or less line-integrals at each detector element. When the CT machine's dimensions RM, Rd, and RS, corresponding respectively to the measurement field-of-view, detector distance from iso-center, and source distance from iso-center, are such that projections of the two extreme radiation sources do not overlap on the detector, the individual line-integrals can be recovered by inversion of linear systems comprising K or less rows in fewer unknown than rows; the unknowns given by the exponential of the negative of the line integrals to be recovered. The CT scanner then reconstructs an image from the line-integral estimates.

  • Patent number: 9861334
Abstract: The present invention provides a radiographic imaging system, a radiographic imaging device, a handheld terminal device and a radiographic imaging method that may improve convenience for a user, in a case in which handheld terminal device is used for radiographic imaging. In a case where a radiographic image is imaged without using a console, the radiographic imaging device generates an image ID and transmits to the handheld terminal device. The handheld terminal device associates the received image ID with a patient ID and memorizes in a memory section. Meanwhile, the radiographic imaging device associates image data of the imaged radiographic image with the image ID and memorizes in a memory section. After imaging is completed, the console separately receives the associated image ID and patient ID from the handheld terminal device and receives the associated image ID and image data from the radiographic imaging device.

  • Patent number: 9849306
Abstract: System includes a beam generator to generate beam(s) for patient treatment and a computing device that obtains three-dimensional image(s) of a target structure that repositions with respect to surrounding tissue of the patient. The computing device creates plan(s) including a first three-dimensional probability distribution of patient's position and a second three-dimensional probability distribution of the repositioned structure's internal position. The computing device combines the first distribution with the second distribution to generate a joint distribution and selects a probability level from the joint distribution. The probability level defines an enclosed surface. A distance defined between the surface and a point of origin in at least one direction is equal to a threshold value of a parameter of the repositioned target in the direction.
