Abstract: The disclosed retractable arms clothes hanger is designed to allow it to be easily inserted into and removed from the neck opening of a tee shirt, pullover, buttoned down shirt, or turtleneck sweater when its arms are retracted in the down position. Once inserted, the turning knob of the retractable arms clothes hanger can be rotated so the arms can be extended into their rigid, upwardly extended position thereby preventing unnecessary garment stretching. By rotating the turning knob of the retractable arms clothes hanger in the opposite direction, the arms of the retractable arms clothes hanger can be retracted back to its down position. The retractable arms clothes hanger with its arms in the down position can be easily and conveniently stored when not in use. The arms of the retractable arms clothes hanger can be fully adjusted to correspond to the proper angle of any type of garment.

Abstract: A multi-barbed apparatus is provided, and methods of use, for penetrating two sides of a wound and holding the edges in apposition. The apparatus may be inserted within a wound or underneath the skin, and mechanically adheres the two sides of the wound together. The apparatus includes a biocompatible substrate carrying a multiplicity of tissue penetrating barbs on a least one side thereof, and may be formed as a rigid or flexible sheet, tube or other shape.

Abstract: A tie-tipping apparatus is provided for the sewing and finishing of tie t and the use of same through the use of properly modified and integrated sewing machines. The apparatus includes a base and a cover, each of similar form to the tie tip. The fabrics to be sewn are positioned between the base and the cover and, by the use of a lever system, instruments of friction are shifted, properly placed on the cover, which pull the upper fabric and take it to assume a configuration which allows for the sewing through an appropriate sewing slot. The tie-tipping apparatus permits an easier positioning of the fabrics, and the possibility to regulate the sewing rim in a different way along the sides of the tip and along the flanks and the possibility of use in an automated work circuit.
