Abstract: The present invention relates to a foundation container comprising an outer container main body (100) and an outer container lid (150) opened/closed while hinge-coupled to the outer container main body (100), the foundation container being provided with a discharge pump having a short stroke distance and a content spreading member and characterized by comprising: an inner container main body (300) formed inside the outer container main body (100); an inner container lid (400) for covering the upper part of the inner container main body (300); an inner container shielding plate (350) coupled to the upper inside of the inner container main body (300); the discharge pump (600) coupled to the center of the inner container shielding plate (350); the content spreading member (700) coupled to the upper part of the discharge pump (600); and an impregnated member (800) coupled to the upper part of the content spreading member (700).

Abstract: A piston for a pressurized container (i.e., “aerosol can”), the piston including a body having circumferential fins, with the fins being of uniform thickness, decreasing thickness radially away from the body, or varying thickness circumferentially. Further disclosed are container precursors and containers incorporating such a piston, and methods of filling and dispensing from such containers.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a toilet that includes a slanted fill tube with an optical proximity sensor positioned on or within the inner surface of the fill tube. The optical proximity sensor includes an incoherent light source and a photodiode. The optical proximity sensor as disclosed herein detects small changes in volumes added to a toilet bowl. Consequently, small volumes of excrement that are deposited in the toilet bowl by a user may be detected with greater accuracy. In some embodiments, information about the volume of urine or feces deposited into the toilet bowl is recorded and calculated by a processor. Other sensors, including a toilet bowl water level sensor and a gas sensor may collect data in combination with the optical proximity sensor to provide more complete information about the user's health.

Abstract: The flush toilet includes a bowl that includes a drainage outlet portion in a bottom portion and a discharge port in an upper inner surface portion. The flush toilet is configured to wash an inner surface of the bowl by allowing washing water discharged from the discharge port to flow down while swirling along the inner surface of the bowl. The inner surface of the bowl includes a guide passage configured to control flow of the washing water that flows down.

Abstract: A bedpan assembly includes a bedpan that may be placed on a bed. Thus, a bedridden user may urinate and defecate into the bedpan. A cushion is coupled to the bedpan and the cushion enhances comfort of the bedridden user. A valve is coupled to the bedpan to receive the bedridden user's urine. The valve is selectively positioned between an open position and a closed position. Thus, the valve inhibits the urine from back splashing onto the bedridden user.

Abstract: Example air ducts comprising pliable tubular sidewalls are provided with example internal frameworks that hold the duct in a generally expanded shape even when the duct is depressurized. The framework tensions the pliable sidewall material along the length of the ducts to keep the material taut. In some examples, the framework is restrained within the duct such that the duct's sidewall, being in tension, holds the framework in compression longitudinally. Thus, in the longitudinal direction, the duct is in tension and the framework is in compression. To prevent the framework from buckling under the compressive force, some example frameworks comprise a central longitudinal shaft with a plurality of radial spokes and rings that help hold the shaft straight. In some examples, the rings also help hold the duct radially expanded.

Abstract: Pliable-wall air ducts with internal expanding structures are disclosed. An example air duct system includes a shaft to be disposed within an air duct, to extend in a longitudinal direction, and to be in longitudinal compression. The air duct system also includes a plurality of ribs to be coupled to the shaft and to engage an inner surface of the air duct and a spring to be disposed within the air duct, the spring to be coupled to the shaft. The spring under stress being a contributing factor in both the shaft being in longitudinal compression and the air duct being in longitudinal tension.

Abstract: A two-channel dispensing device intended to close a vial includes two reservoirs (13, 14), two channels having an inlet end opening into one of the reservoirs and outlet end opening outside of the reservoir. First closing means are provided in each channel, which can change from a closed position to an opened position in which a product can exit said reservoir. The two channels are isolated from each other at least between their inlet ends and the respective closing means. The reservoirs are formed by a single flexible pouch separated by a central partition (12) into first and second compartments (13, 14) performing the functions of the first and second reservoirs. The inlet end of the first channel opens into the first compartment (13) and the inlet end of the second channel opens into the second compartment (14), so that a single pouch makes it possible to form two reservoirs.

Abstract: The hand-held urinal with stabilizing mechanism is a hand-held collection device that comprises a medical urinal, weight bar, and a semi-rigid connector. The medical urinal is modified through the addition of the weight bar and the semi-rigid connector. The weight bar and the semi-rigid connector act as a counterbalance that adjusts the location of the first moment of the hand-held urinal with stabilizing mechanism relative to the first moment of just the medical urinal. The addition of the weight bar and the semi-rigid connector reduces the change in the first moment of the hand-held urinal with stabilizing mechanism that is caused by the addition of urine to the medical urinal during the use of the hand-held urinal with stabilizing mechanism. This makes the hand-held urinal with stabilizing mechanism easier to hold during the collection of urine.

The apparatus includes a tray adjacent to the urinal or toilet, foot rests on either side of the tray, a splatter guard comprising an enclosure located on top of the tray, wherein an open end of the splatter guard faces the urinal or toilet, and a closed end of the splatter guard faces the individual, and wherein the splatter guard prevents splattering of liquid falling from the urinal or toilet, a disposable and absorbent pad configured for placement in the tray such that the pad absorbs liquid falling from the urinal or toilet and, a disposable and water repellant cover configured for placement over and on top of the splatter guard.
