  • Patent number: 7455430
Abstract: A lighting device with a multiple cooling layer structure has at least one mounting heat conductive block, at least one light assembly and multiple heatsinks. The mounting heat conductive block has a front end, a rear end, a side and at least one shoulder. Each shoulder is formed at the side of the mounting bracket. The light assembly is mounted on the front end of the mounting bracket. Each heatsinks is mounted on one of the shoulders and the rear end of the mounting bracket. When the lighting device generates heat, the heat is able to drive away from the mounting bracket to the heatsinks. The lighting device is able to cool down. The mounting heat conductive block and the heat sinks are easy to manufacture and transfer heat more effectively.

  • Patent number: 7410286
Abstract: A video display for two or three dimensions has a flat liquid-crystal screen which ejects light from the plane at a selectable line. One or, in the case of a 3-D display, several video projectors project a linear image into the plane from an edge. A complete image is written on the screen by addressing the line with appropriate images as it is scanned down the screen. To screen a three-dimensional image, the video projectors, each projecting an image as seen at a slightly different angle, combine to constitute a three-dimensional display which produces a three-dimensional image that is one line high.

  • Patent number: 7410285
Abstract: A surface light source device is provided with a primary light source and light guide plate. The light guide plate has an incidence side face opposite to which the primary light source employing LEDs or the like is disposed, an emission face for emitting light, which has been incident to the incidence side face, during the propagation process, and a back face oppositely located with respect to the emission face. The back face may be provided with a plurality of prism projections running generally vertically to the incidence side face. The primary light source has an effective light emitting surface provided with length L in a thickness direction of the light guide plate, which is not smaller than thickness t of the light guide plate at the incidence side face. This causes primary light to be incident to the incidence side face as to cover from an upper edge to lower edge thereof, preventing dark parts from being generated.

  • Patent number: 6305829
Abstract: A neck assembly for a recessed lighting fixture is provided that allows for the dissipation of heat from the fixture to the atmosphere and provides for the use of lamps of various sizes within the fixture. The neck assembly includes a generally annular neck portion that includes a body portion; and, a socket subassembly that includes a U-shaped socket support and lamp socket. The neck portion includes an axial hole or opening therein and may also include one or more nonaxial holes or openings therein. The nonaxial holes or openings may be circular, oblong or some other similar shape. The neck portion also contains two or more pairs of slots or openings. These slots are configured so as to removably receive the ends of the legs of the U-shaped socket support.

  • Patent number: 6302569
Abstract: A vehicle light holder ring for vehicle light fixtures and mounted within an aperture provided on a body of a vehicle, including a central opening and at least three mounting apertures. A rim is attached to the light holder ring and surrounds the central opening. A flange is attached to the rim to form an interior diameter for retaining one diameter of the light fixture. A plurality of springs are attached to a rear edge of the flange and extend inwardly in a radial direction to form a diameter which is slightly smaller than the diameter of the flange for tightly retaining a plurality of different diameters of the light fixture. The light holder ring further includes at least three retaining clips attached to a bottom edge of the rim for holding a bottom end of the light fixture to the light holder ring.
