Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for managing a payment transaction wherein a processor receives a transaction information input corresponding to a particular card type. The processor then accesses a BIN table and a rate table to calculate a fee based on the transaction information input and compares the calculated fee with alternate fees corresponding to alternate card types. A card type corresponding to a determined lowest fee between the calculated fee and the alternate fees is then outputted. The processor then completes the payment transaction by accessing transaction information corresponding to a user selected card type.

Abstract: The SEASONAL PORTFOLIO CONSTRUCTION PLATFORM APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“SPC”) transform user data request via SPC components into seasonal portfolio investment transaction records. In one implementation, the SPC may provide an investment analytics and management tool facilitating a user (e.g., investors, consumers, portfolio managers, traders, etc.) to research, build and maintain an investment strategy for a customized portfolio based on a current economic cycle phase.

Abstract: A cash recycler that is configured to allow deposited money to be dispensed (recycled) in a withdrawal transaction. In one embodiment, multiple currency recyclers could be used at multiple stores of a retail establishment and collectively work from one pending balance. Embodiments are also contemplated in which multiple accounts at one recycler location. In some cases, the currency recycler provides provisional credit for deposits of coinage and checks. In some cases, transactions made on the currency recycler could be settled to any financial institution.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments are directed to a method of paying a trustee, including providing debtor information to a database, initiating at least one electronic fund transfer, transmitting the debtor information to a plurality of networks via a communications network, and delivering a payment to a trustee. The debtor information generally corresponds to a Chapter 13 bankruptcy debtor and the method further includes verifying the debtor information against a public database. The present disclosure is further directed to a system for paying a trustee, including a computer storage device to store debtor information and a processing device to initiate at least one electronic fund transfer, transmit the debtor information to a plurality of networks via a communications network, and deliver a payment to a trustee.

Abstract: Orders are automatically sent to the market when certain user defined conditions are met. In particular, a trader can configure the trading application to automatically send orders for preset quantities at price levels with queues falling below a user defined threshold. The length of queues may be measured in several ways, for example, the queue length could be measured by quantity at a given price level or the queue length could be measured by the number of orders at a given price level, or the queue length could be measured by a combination of quantity and orders. The present embodiments can more quickly recognize opportunities and send an order to take advantage of it than a trader can do manually. Other advantages and features are described herein.

Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed enable a permitting party to share credit data and/or personal information with a receiving party, such as an individual with whom the permitting party has established a trusted connection. In some embodiments, the permitting party may define how much of the permitting party's personal information or other data is shared. In some embodiments, data sharing may be enabled, in part, by generating an identifier that may be provided to the receiving party in order to access the shared data.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include a method and system for conducting financial transactions over a payment network. The method may include associating a payment address of an account with an account holder name, the account residing at a financial institution and the associated payment address of the account configured to allow withdrawals by the account holder only and to allow a plurality of deposits to be made at different times. The method further includes freely publishing the payment address and making it available to users of an internet portal or search engine. The method further includes receiving data over a network identifying a deposit to be made to the account, assigning the deposit to the account using the payment address, and notifying the payer of the assignment. At least one directory is used for associating the account holder with the payment address.

Abstract: A methodology, system and business model are disclosed for facilitating a fully automated buyer's auction in which the major types of transaction costs are significantly reduced by providing the buyer and the sellers with near-perfect information about one another, including information about buyer preferences and competing sellers' offers. The system implements a buyer's auction with multidimensional bidding that minimizes market intelligence, search, bargaining and transaction execution costs and thus creates more competitive, frictionless markets. Buyers and sellers can efficiently conduct the buyer's auction within a unified environment, thereby minimizing buyer integration costs as well. The buyer's auction generates commercially marketable proprietary information and a revenue stream for the auctioneer providing such a service.

Abstract: Pursuant to some embodiments, insurance systems, methods and devices are provided in which electric vehicle information, including electric vehicle charging information, may be received over a communications network. The electric vehicle charging information may be automatically associated with automobile insurance premium information. An integrated presentation of the electric vehicle charging information and the automobile insurance premium information may then be transmitted, over the communications network, for presentation to an owner of the electric vehicle.

Abstract: A system for de-risking a pension fund, the system including: an input module for receiving asset class forecasts; a modeling module for modeling a plurality of portfolios based on the asset class forecasts to provide a de-risking framework; an asset mix module for receiving an asset mix for each of the model portfolios based on the de-risking framework; a database for storing data related to the asset class forecasts, the model portfolios, and asset mix; a processor configured to monitor the model portfolios for performance within the de-risking framework by: calculating an indicator of funded status volatility; comparing the indicator with a benchmark; and reporting the result. In particular, the indicator of funded status volatility is a liability tracking error and the benchmark is the liability tracking error of a conventional or standard pension portfolio.

Abstract: System, method, and computer program product are provided for a user to send and receive P2P payments using the Internet. Through the use of a network, a user may access accounts the user has at a financial institution and direct payments to other individuals or entities using the other individuals or entities alias. In this way, the user may ensure a secure payment to a third-party through the network associated with a financial institution. The payments may be directed to individuals the user may input into the system by providing the user's alias. A user's alias may be a unique identifier of the user and tied to a financial account of that user. In this way, the sender of the P2P payments may input the recipient's alias and transfer funds via the P2P payment system without having to input the recipient's account information.

Abstract: In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, an apparatus may include a network interface configured receive data from and communicate data to a remote electronic device and a processor coupled to the network interface. Abstract: The disclosure herein provides a guaranteed rate of return for a guarantee period of a financial account while at the same time providing upward adjustments to the interest rate if there is a corresponding increase in a specified referenced rate. The guaranteed base interest rate is set at the beginning of the guarantee period, which is credited to an account for an initial pre-defined period. Periodically, the then-current referenced rate is compared to a base referenced rate defined at the establishment of the guarantee period. If the referenced rate has increased, the interest rate that will be credited to the account value will increase by an amount that is based on the amount of increase in the referenced rate. If the referenced rate has not changed or has decreased, the interest rate that will be credited to the account value will be the guaranteed base interest rate.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include a method and system for effectuating an electronic payment between a payor and a payee using an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) network. The method is implemented by a system having multiple processors. The payor may hold a payor account at a payor institution and the payee may have a payee account at a payee institution. The method includes generating a payment authorization identifying the payee institution, the payee account, and an amount of the payment and transmitting the payment authorization to the payor institution. The method further includes debiting the payor account by the amount of the payment; transmitting from the payor institution to the payee institution through the EFT network an EFT credit message representing a credit in the amount of the payment; and crediting the payee account in the amount of the payment in response to the receipt of the EFT credit message.

Abstract: A data representation of auctions in an online auction system and a bidding history associated with the auctions and the online auction system are maintained in a computer system for multiple users. A set of the users to whom to promote a selected auction is determined based at least in part on the bidding history. A message that promotes the selected auction is sent to each respective one of the set of the users. The message includes a control configured to open a web page that facilitates bidding in the selected auction through the online auction system.
