  • Patent number: 11375341
Abstract: UE location determined by collecting and preprocessing signal data at a detector and sending extracted data to a remote locate server. The detector buffers samples from signals provided by receive channels, detects known reference signals from receive channels based on reference signal parameters, isolates symbols carrying the reference signal from frames, extracts data from symbols, and sends extracted data to locate server. The locate server receives the extracted data, estimates locate observables based on the extracted data and calculates the UE location based on the estimated locate observables, the reference signal parameters and the extracted data. The detector and/or the server may also generate correlation coefficients between reference signals carrying spectrum received from a serving cell and utilize the correlation coefficients to cancel a serving cell signal in symbols that include known in advance reference signals from the serving cell and one or more neighboring cells of the wireless system.

  • Patent number: 11363356
Abstract: A system for remotely retrieving sensed conditions at one or more building components. The building components are remote or numerous so that a wireless collection of the sensed conditions provides a significant benefit to a builder or building operator. A remote transceiver sends a wireless signal to a building component. The building component includes an onboard transceiver. At least some of the energy from the transmitted wireless signal is received by the onboard transceiver, sent to a storage device, and stored therein. The stored energy is used to operate a sensor for sensing an onboard condition. The onboard condition is then wirelessly transmitted by the onboard transceiver back to the remote transceiver to be displayed.

  • Patent number: 11335150
Abstract: An electronic lock system that uses an intermediary controller (“IMC”), such as an electronic lockbox, to communicate with an electronic lock that protects buildings, such as dwellings. The IMC also communicates with a wireless portable computer (“WPC”), such as a smart phone, so that an authorized user can first authenticate credentials to the IMC, then have the IMC (or the WPC) send appropriate messages to the electronic lock to command that lock to unlock. The IMC must initially be setup by an ADMIN, so that the IMC's memory contains the specific codes and protocols to successfully communicate with the electronic lock. In this manner, the user can obtain access to the building without specific knowledge of those specific codes and protocols required by the electronic lock. An alarm panel on a building could also be disarmed by the IMC, if its specific codes and protocols are first setup into the IMC's memory.

  • Patent number: 11333694
Abstract: With regard to an instrument wherein a plurality of phase operations are carried out, the type of failure or the phase in which the failure has occurred is determined and, in accordance with the result of the determination, an alarm signal is generated. Provided that the failure details and the phase in which the failure has occurred can be determined from the generated alarm signal, it is possible, using a configuration wherein an alarm signal having a pulse number corresponding to the phase in which a failure has occurred is generated, or a configuration wherein an alarm signal having a pulse width corresponding to the phase in which a failure has occurred is generated, to determine the type of failure that has occurred and the phase in which the failure has occurred from the pulse number and pulse width.
