In the highchair configuration the device generally includes a first child seat supported above a floor by a highchair frame, and a second child seat configured for being removably coupled to the first child seat. In certain embodiments, the second child seat includes a base surface configured to stably support the second child seat on a separate support surface. In the stepstool configuration a support step platform is supported above the floor by the frame, and a back rail at the top of the frame provides further support for the user.
