Abstract: Techniques for creating and managing wagers on possible states within a live event, such as possible outcomes of subparts of a sporting event or other possible occurrences within the event. An initial state and multiple possible future states of a performance parameter of the event are determined based on state information of the event. A betting market may be created by determining probabilities and odds for the possible future states. Bets may be made on the possible future states via a touch-sensitive display. A payout may be made to a winner who selects a possible future state that actually occurs.

Abstract: An electronic gaming machine includes a processor configured to control a display device to display a matrix of symbol positions and a bonus meter, where the bonus meter displays a bonus prize. In response to a bonus game trigger condition being satisfied, the processor is configured to control the display device to display a plurality of volatility options, each being player selectable and associated with a number of free spins and a multiple or another percentage of the bonus prize. A player selection of one volatility option is received, and a plurality of free spins are initiated.
Abstract: A game control method, game server, and program can increase variations on methods for acquiring items, increase the predictability of acquisition of an item with a high rarity value or the like, and heighten interest in the game. Included are the steps of presenting a communication terminal, connected over a communication line, with acquirable item information that, for each item type, includes a total count and an acquisition count or a non-acquisition count of items when receiving, from the communication terminal, a request to present information related to items acquirable by the communication terminal, determining an item to provide to the communication terminal when receiving an item acquisition request from the communication terminal, and changing the acquirable item information when receiving a reset request from the communication terminal.
Abstract: Some embodiments may include one or more methods and/or apparatus related to play of a first game, qualifying a player to play a second game based at least in part on play of a first game, play of a second game, skill-based games, and/or luck-based games. Further embodiments may be described.
Abstract: A gaming system including a cascading symbol or tumbling reel game which utilizes zero, one or more multiple symbol display position elements. Each multiple symbol display position element is configured to occupy or span a plurality of symbol display positions of a symbol display position matrix. For a generated multiple symbol display position element to be removed from the symbol display matrix, each of the individual symbols of the multiple symbol display position element must individually qualify to be removed from the symbol display matrix.
Abstract: A display, as for an electronic gaming machine, includes one or more rotatable mechanical reels including at least one variable displaying position at which the display may be varied. Content is displayed at the variable displaying position when the variable displaying position registers with the display. One or more reels can include a reel strip which includes at one location a pre-printed symbol and at another location a window. A video display can be arranged, configured and controlled by a processor to cast a display at the inside of the reel to impart light and video effects to pre-printed symbol locations or to cast video content through the reel strip window.

Abstract: Gaming systems and methods that modify one or more symbols based on an accumulation of such symbols at one or more symbol display positions over a plurality of plays of a game.
Abstract: In a gaming method and system, a player is permitted to move funds from a gaming machine at a casino, such as funds won at the gaming machine or input into the gaming machine, with a funds account which the player can utilize to fund remote or mobile gaming. When a player of a gaming machine is identified, such as by detecting or sensing the player's mobile communication device or by a player's use of a player card or the like, a gaming machine may be configured or triggered to activate one or more funds association options, such as to offer the player the opportunity to associate funds provided to the gaming machine with their account for use in remote or mobile gaming.
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide an information processing apparatus that enables a player to more easily understand a bet amount. The information processing apparatus is provided with: multiple types of paper stock having currency information including currency units; an insertion slot into which the multiple types of paper stock are inserted; a reading device for reading the multiple types of paper stock inserted into the insertion slot; a display device for displaying a bet amount, for starting a process, together with currency information, based on currency information corresponding to each of the multiple types of paper stock read by the reading device; and an input device capable of inputting the bet amount displayed on the display device.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention set forth systems, apparatuses and methods for providing multiple spins during gaming events to provide increased opportunities to receive winning outcomes. Accordingly, a gaming device can be configured to have a plurality of reels with multiple symbols on each reel. A portion of the symbols on each reel are displayed on a game grid having a number of symbol positions. During a gaming event, the symbols are randomly arranged via a first spin on game grid to generate a first configuration and a determination is made as to whether the first condition satisfies a predetermined condition. When the predetermined condition is satisfied, the reels or symbols in the symbol positions associated with the predetermined condition are held while the remaining reels or symbol positions are subjected to a second spin to randomly generate a second configuration.
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for associating a player identifier with a financial account. The financial account can holds funds that are accessible through the player's use of a payment vehicle. Information associated with transactions using the payment vehicle can be used for player relationship purposes.

Abstract: A location-based game system is provided. Such a system may take the form of any device (e.g., a wireless telephone) that includes a locating device (e.g., a GPS system). One such location-based game may operate such that the actual, physical location of a user on a physical playfield corresponds to the location of a virtual character on a virtual playfield. Such location based games are referred to herein as actuality games. In one multiplayer actuality embodiment, two game devices may communicate location, and other, information to a remote database such that the two user's may interact on different physical playfields, but play on the same virtual playfield. A number of wireless communications protocols, self-configurations, and auto-download software applications are also provided to optimize integration with, for example, a wireless telephone.
Abstract: In example embodiments, a method of interactive imitation learning method is disclosed. An input is received from an input device. The input includes data describing a first set of example actions defining a behavior for a virtual character. Inverse reinforcement learning is used to estimate a reward function for the set of example actions. The reward function and the set of example actions is used as input to a reinforcement learning model to train a machine learning agent to mimic the behavior in a training environment. Based on a measure of failure of the training of the machine learning agent reaching a threshold, the training of the machine learning agent is paused to request a second set of example actions from the input device. The second set of example actions is used in addition to the first set of example actions to estimate a new reward function.
