  • Patent number: 11144568
Abstract: A global data manager for managing data includes persistent storage and a data manager. The persistent storage stores a data template repository. The data manager obtains an internal request for a data type; identifies internal data of the data type; makes a determination, without being requested by a user that made the internal request, that external data of the data type exists; in response to the determination: polls data stores to obtain the external data of the data type; translates the external data of the data type, using the data template repository, into a format compatible with the internal data of the data type to obtain translated external data of the data type; and displays an external data enhanced interface based on: the internal data of the data type, and the translated external data of the data type.

  • Patent number: 11138175
Abstract: A database system stores both compressed and uncompressed data in a row-based database system. The database system converts a representation of data involving a set of rows of a source database table, each row comprising multiple values, into a representation involving a single row stored in a target database table, each column of the row comprising arrays of values from the set. The database system may perform type-specific compression of data when storing in the target database table. Accordingly, the database system may apply different compression schemes for different columns or sets of values obtained from the source database table and may group or order selected rows or store additional summary information to improve query performance to the target database table. The database system allows users to query data stored in compressed form. The database system combines compressed and uncompressed data at query time for efficient database analytics.

  • Patent number: 11120082
Abstract: Techniques are provided herein for efficient representation of heterogeneous graphs in memory. In an embodiment, vertices and edges of the graph are segregated by type. Each property of a type of vertex or edge has values stored in a respective vector. Directed or undirected edges of a same type are stored in compressed sparse row (CSR) format. The CSR format is more or less repeated for edge traversal in either forward or reverse direction. An edge map translates edge offsets obtained from traversal in the reverse direction for use with data structures that expect edge offsets in the forward direction. Subsequent filtration and/or traversal by type or property of vertex or edge entails minimal data access and maximal data locality, thereby increasing efficient use of the graph.

  • Patent number: 11120025
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention allow a Source database and a Target database to be compared and merged in such a way that logically relevant data is considered and merged while ignoring irrelevant differences (e.g., object identifiers) and that all dependencies across relational database tables are considered and merged. Some exemplary embodiments are discussed herein with reference to databases such as the Standard Database (SDB) for Intergraph Smart™ Reference Data product from Intergraph Corporation and are referred to generally as the “SDB Merge Tool,” although the disclosed concepts can be applied more generally to other types of databases.
