  • Patent number: 10091953
Abstract: The gardening kit is a collection of tools configured for use in the weeding of agricultural plots such as gardens. Each component contained within the gardening kit is configured for use without requiring the gardener to bend over during weeding. The gardening kit comprises a weeding device and a clipping collector. The weeding device is a bladed device that is worn in the manner of a boot. The weeding device is used in the manner of a hoe to either: 1) cut directly through unwanted growth; 2) agitate the soil in a manner that cuts the existing unwanted growth from their roots; or, 3) remove or otherwise dig out old roots from the soil. Once the clippings and other debris have been accumulated via the weeding device the clipping collector is used to pick up and dispose of the accumulated clippings.

  • Patent number: 10072214
Abstract: A process for the preparation of a concentrated filter cake from an admixture of partially-decomposed organic material and a polar liquid using a filter press without the input of thermal heat or superheated steam or other pressurized gas or liquid is provided by this invention. The admixture is mixed with an additional amount of the polar liquid to produce a feed slurry of the admixture having a moisture content of about 90-99% wt. The resulting slurry admixture is then introduced into the filter press having a plurality of filter plates with porous membranes secured along their outlet. The pressure condition introduced inside the filter plate chambers is increased by a pressurized gas or liquid to force the polar liquid from the admixture slurry though apertures contained in the membrane, thereby leaving a filter cake of the partially-decomposed organic material having a moisture content that is lower than the moisture content of the initial partially-decomposed organic material feed.

  • Patent number: 10066360
Abstract: A rock bucket attachment for securement with a skid steer unit or tractor front loader, the attachment incorporating a bucket for use in combination with a grapple, the bucket having side walls, back walls, and a bottom wall, the grapple interconnecting by lever arms to the side walls of the bucket, the grapple having a pair of side arms pivotally connected with the front of the lever arms, and hydraulic cylinders interconnecting between the back of the side arms and the back end of the side walls, or the frame structure interconnecting between the two, such that when the hydraulic cylinders are actuated, they initially pivot the lever arms forwardly to their fullest extent to arrange the grapple and its rake over a debris pile, and then further actuation of the hydraulic cylinders pivoting the side arms relative to the lever arms to pivot the rake of the grapple downwardly to urge any debris into the bucket as the rake comes into proximity with the front of the bucket, to retain any raked debris therein.

  • Patent number: 10060088
Abstract: A driving arrangement for a snow blower device that includes a power source and an impeller, comprises a main body and a drive train within and about the main body. The drive train comprises a right angle gear box in driving engagement with both the power source and the impeller of the snow blower device for transferring torque from the power source to the impeller, thereby driving the impeller of the snow blower device. A cooling system for cooling a main power source configured to drive a snow blower of the snow blower device, comprises an auxiliary power source operatively coupled to the main power source and a fan operatively coupled to the auxiliary power source for cooling the main power source.
