The program comprises numerous code sequences that assist the court, a court reporter, the parties to litigation (and counsel), and the judge in the process of selecting and empaneling jurors from a plurality of candidates.

Abstract: Code which when executed on a server is for recording a verified contract outcome associated with contracts before adding to a blockchain. The code receives protocols associated with a triggering event intended to occur in the future. If no disputed information is received within a predetermined amount of time after the triggering event, then recording the contract outcome information on a distributed ledger. If disputed information is received within the predetermined amount of time, then having a decentralized network of third-parties perform a third-party analysis of the disputed information. Displaying graphical representations associated with status information before a consensus contract outcome is determined based upon third-party analysis.

Abstract: An audit system automatically ensures compliance with relevant policy by identifying an entity offering a non-audit service that also provides audit services to the enterprise, and ensuring the service is permissible and proper approval has been obtained. If the non-audit service is prohibited or proper approval from an audit committee has not been obtained, execution of the service is prevented. When a permissible non-audit service is executed, this service can be monitored and execution suspended when circumstances change such that the service is no longer permissible or approval for the service expires. The audit system can forward a message to the audit committee or other authority about any suspended business process. If the audit committee subsequently approves the suspended permissible non-audit service, execution of the instance of the business process resumes. The audit system determines whether the vendor entity was paid demands a refund where necessary.

Abstract: Systems and associated methods for recycling and performing other processes with consumer electronic devices are described herein. In various embodiments, the present technology includes systems and methods for identifying and evaluating an electronic device to facilitate processing (e.g., purchasing) the device. In some embodiments, the present technology includes a self-service evaluation apparatus and a cashier terminal that identifies and evaluates a device and that facilitates purchase and recycling of the device. Various other aspects of the present technology are described herein.

Abstract: A physical uncloneable function (PUF) pattern is used for verifying a physical condition of an item. The PUF pattern is arranged to be damaged in the event that said item is exposed to a predetermined environmental condition. Verification of the physical condition of the item, is carried out by obtaining a measured response from the PUF pattern, and comparing the measured response with a stored response in respect of the PUF.

Abstract: A method of determining emissions from a one or more equipment operated by a user for a period. The method includes storing engine data for of the one or more equipment and receiving the utilization of each of the one or more equipment over the period. The emissions are then calculated for each of the one or more equipment based, at least in part, on each of the engines' utilization and engine data. The total of the calculated emissions is then determined.

Abstract: Described herein is a system and method for auditing governance, risk, and compliance using an event correlation architecture. In particular, the event correlation architecture may include a solution designer for defining a solution pack that enforces one or more specific governance, risk, or compliance controls, and a solution manager for deploying the solution pack within the event correlation architecture to configure the architecture for enforcement of the one or more controls. Thus, a collection of content defined in the solution pack may be used to enrich one or more events received at the event correlation architecture, and a correlation engine may then correlate the events using the content in the solution pack to enforce the one or more governance, risk, or compliance controls.

Each model developer may be considered an interested party. For example, when a model developer changes an area of the model, that person becomes the most interested party in other changes made to the same area. An automated mechanism is provided to track changes made to the model set and informs interested parties as changes are made or after changes are made to the model based on a weighting system. In one embodiment, the weighting system may be based on a distance from the changed portions and on the amount of time since a party last made a change to the same area.
