An inventory of detected hardware components of the IHS is compared against the inventory from the updated inventory certificate in order to validate the detected hardware of the IHS includes the component, supplied by the trusted entity, that is identified in the updated inventory certificate.

The price of an item is determined based on the weight of the item and the price per unit weight of the item. The systems described herein thus enable customized retail facilities, as opposed to a retail facility that allows automated-checkout only for prepackaged-type or otherwise non-customizable merchandise.

The system reads the information from the transaction object using the interface in response to an increase in signal strength and to the outputting of the feedback.
