Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system for activating a first mobile terminal and a second mobile terminal to operate with a server. The method performed by a processor of the mobile device, the method comprising: providing a first authentication data from said first terminal to the server; verifying said first authentication data; providing a first data set and a unique identity by said first terminal to the server; providing a recognition data to said first terminal; providing said recognition data to said second terminal; decoding said recognition data by said second terminal; providing to said server by said second terminal said decoded recognition data and a second identity, verifying by said server said decoded recognition data and providing a second data set to said second terminal; verifying the second data set by said second terminal; and executing an event with respect to result of said verification of the second data set.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide an account-based DRM system for distributing content. The system includes several devices that are associated with an account and a set of DRM computers that receives a request to access a piece of content on the devices associated with the account. The DRM computer set then generates a several keys for the devices, where each particular key of each particular device allows the particular device to access the piece of content on the particular device. In some embodiments, the DRM computer set sends the content and keys to one device (e.g., a computer), which is used to distribute the content and the key(s) to the other devices associated with the account. In some embodiments, the DRM computer set individually encrypts each key in a format that is used during its transport to its associated device and during its use on this device.

Abstract: Healthcare transaction validation systems and methods are presented. Healthcare transactions associated with a stakeholder are compiled into a chain of healthcare transaction blocks. The chain can be considered a chronicle of person's healthcare path through life. When a transaction is conducted, the corresponding healthcare parameters (e.g., inputs, outputs, clinical evidence, outcomes, etc.) are sent to one or more validation devices. The devices establish a validity of the transaction and generate a new block via a proof-of-work principle. Once the new block has been calculated it can be appended to the stakeholder's health care blockchain.

Abstract: A communications network places in data communication an access point controlling access to a controlled access area; a server; and a medium-long range wireless communications transceiver. The transceiver detects presence of a portable electronic device outside the access point. The server obtains an indication that a user of the portable electronic device has been authenticated to the portable electronic device and initiates a payment approval process which is completed before the user seeks to pass through the access point. Based at least in part on the authentication and success of the payment approval process, the server provides to the access point an electronic token indicating that the user, bearing the portable electronic device, is to be allowed to pass through the access point into the controlled access area.

Abstract: The system includes a processor operable to receive a request from a customer to perform a cryptocurrency transaction with a third party. The processor may also retrieve block chain information associated with the cryptocurrency transaction. The processor may also determine the amount of cryptocurrency associated with the cryptocurrency transaction. The processor may further calculate a risk score for performing the cryptocurrency transaction based at least in part upon the block chain information and the amount of cryptocurrency.

Abstract: A system includes a memory that may store a customer account associated with a customer and a processor communicatively coupled to the memory. The processor is able to receive a request to deposit a quantity of cryptocurrency into the customer account and associate the quantity of cryptocurrency with the customer account. The processor is also able to deposit the quantity of cryptocurrency into a vault connected to a network and determine a total quantity of cryptocurrency deposited into the vault. The processor may also, in response to determining the total quantity of cryptocurrency deposited into the vault exceeds a threshold, facilitate the disconnection of the vault from the network.

For example, a call request message is received, the call request message carrying an identification (ID) of order data associated with one or more objects, the order data including at least a total value of the objects and an ID of a second subject; a first account related to a first subject and a user password related to the first subject are acquired; the first account and the user password and the ID of the order data are sent; the first account and the user password and the ID of the order data are forwarded; and based on at least information associated with the first account and the user password and the ID of the order data, the total value is deducted from a first value included in the first account related to the first subject.

Abstract: A mobile voting system and method are provided. The mobile voting system may include a mobile messaging aggregator configured to receive voter verification requests from one or more mobile carriers, and a mobile voter verification server configured to verify a voter's identity in response to a voter verification request and generate a link to a mobile ballot once the voter's identity has been verified. The mobile messaging aggregator may cause the link to the mobile ballot to be transmitted to a mobile device of the voter, which when selected by the voter, allows the voter to cast a vote.

Abstract: A system includes a memory and a processor. The memory may store a customer account associated with a customer and an enterprise account associated with an enterprise. The processor may be communicatively coupled to the memory and may cause the system to receive a request to deposit a first amount of a cryptocurrency in the customer account from the customer. The processor may also cause the system to determine a public key associated with the customer account and receive the first amount of the cryptocurrency. The processor may further cause the system to determine a first value approximately equivalent to the first amount of cryptocurrency and associate the first value with the customer account. The processor is further able to aggregate the first amount of cryptocurrency with an aggregated amount of the cryptocurrency in the enterprise account and facilitate securing the public key in the enterprise account.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for express voting. In some example embodiments, there is provided a method for express voting. The method may include authenticating a voter based on a token carried by a user equipment, the token mapped to at least one of an identity of the voter, a precinct of the voter, and a ballot for the voter; and providing, when the authenticating indicates the voter is authorized to vote, the ballot presented on the user equipment. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also disclosed.

Abstract: A system and method for authorizing transactions using biometrics is disclosed. The system may be a commerce authorization system comprising a portable computing device, a docking station, and a biometric reader. The method for authorizing a transaction may comprise the steps of: receiving biometric data from a biometric reader; comparing the received biometric data with a biometric template; and, transmitting payment information to the vendor.

Abstract: A method for processing payment. The method includes receiving, by a payment service, a payment text message comprising a payment amount and an identifier of a payee mobile device, validating the payment text message based on a payer balance of a virtual payer account maintained by the payment service for the payer, creating, by the payment service and in response to the payment text message, a virtual payee account based on the identifier of the payee mobile device, transferring, in response to creating the virtual payee account, the payment amount from the virtual payer account to the virtual payee account, and sending, by the payment service to the payee mobile device, a notification text message to notify the payee regarding a payee balance of the virtual payee account, wherein the payee balance is determined based at least on the payment amount.

Abstract: A voter verification system and method are provided. Abstract: A social graph may be modeled as a collection of claims. Each claim is associated with an author, an audience, and an assertion about a fact. Probabilistic information may be collected from various sources for a claim, enabling a social networking system to evaluate a truthfulness of the assertion made in the claim. User-declared profile information may be evaluated as claims. A user, entity, or application may make claims about any assertions made in the social networking system. Reputation scores may be determined for users based on evaluations of their historical assertions. Claims may be evaluated for truthfulness using a probabilistic prediction model using heuristics analysis, regression analysis, and machine learning methods. A claims-based profile of users may be provided to viewers based on the contexts in which the claims were made. Viewers may view claims made about users, such as the users' biographical information, contact information, expertise, and interests.

Abstract: A method of making a payment in which payment data is received by a user's terminal from a point-of-sale terminal, a secret of a payment application is received by the terminal from the operator's server system, a trust card is activated in the user's terminal by utilizing said secret of the payment application, and data of the trust card is transmitted from the user's terminal to the point-of-sale terminal for making the payment transaction. A trust card is created in the server system, data of the trust card is transmitted to the terminal to be used for making the payment transaction, the secret of the payment application is formed in the server system, and access to the secret of the payment application is provided to the terminal for activating the trust card for making the payment transaction.

Abstract: Systems and related methods facilitating secure payments are discussed herein. Some embodiments may provide for a system including a payment gateway server, a tokenizer server and a detokenizer server. The payment gateway server may receive payment card data from a merchant device and provide the payment data the tokenizer server. The tokenizer server may be configured to generate one or more tokens based on the payment data and provide the one or more tokens to the payment gateway server. During payment processing, the payment gateway server may be configured to provide the one or more tokens to the detokenizer server configured to determine the payment data based on the one or more tokens to facilitate completion of a financial transaction. In some embodiments, the one or more tokens may be stored for subsequent payments. Furthermore, some embodiments may provide for secure promotion redemptions in addition or alternative to payments.
