  • Patent number: 7316134
Abstract: A washing machine with a wobbling unit including a washing plate which wobbles in a vertical direction without rotating, thus washing laundry. The wobbling unit further includes a vertical rotating shaft rotating by a washing shaft and an inclined rotating shaft provided at a predetermined position above the vertical rotating shaft. A first rotary member allows the vertical rotating shaft to rotate along with the inclined rotating shaft. A second rotary member rotatably receives the inclined rotating shaft therein. The wobbling unit also includes a projecting pin, a wobbling pin, and a leveling pin to control positions of the first and second rotary members. A position of the washing plate is changed to a level position or a wobbling position by an operation of the pins. Further, a clutch is mounted to the second rotary member so that the position of the washing plate is securely changed to a desired position.

  • Patent number: 7306000
Abstract: A large scale cleaning plug (L) adaptable to be placed within an interior passageway (10) of a tubular system (14) includes a frame structure (208) with a first and second end (202 and 204) supporting an outer skin member (200) for directing a fluid (F) through an interior passageway formed in the skeletal frame structure (208). A middle section (300) of the frame (208) has a generally frustoconical shaped bottom (302). A rigging (236) connected to the frame (208) controllably secures the frame structure (208) in desired positions. The frame's second end (204) supports at least one nozzle assembly (220) having at least one nozzle body (222) extending from a plate (226) preventing appreciable fluid flow therethrough and permitting a desired fluid flow through an exit opening (223) of the nozzle bodies (222).

  • Patent number: 7299515
Abstract: A washing machine control method accurately determines an amount of laundry in the washing machine, while driving a motor coupled to a drum under load, based on a computed average of pulse width modulation values at the time of stopping the drive of a motor and the motor's rotational angle as the motor freewheels to a stop, in order to conserve water and reduce the time required for performing a washing step.

  • Patent number: 7287402
Abstract: Paddles are fastened on an inside of a drum casing by fastening elements. The paddles contain a hollow body, which is open in the direction of the drum casing and has a cross-sectional surface area similar to a triangle, and stiffening structures on the insides of its flanks. For secure and permanently stable fastening, in the region of at least some of the structures, strip-shaped installation parts are connected in a form-fitting manner, by way of a section located essentially parallel to the surface of the drum casing, to the inside of the flanks. Moreover, the sections have at least two fastening elements by which the paddle is fastened on the drum casing.

  • Patent number: 7246624
Abstract: An improved pot and pan washing machine is provided including a low suction intake manifold and a partition for capturing a substantial portion of the wash action of the washing machine within a segregated area. The intake manifold of the instant invention includes a plurality of voids having a void concentration that increases as the distance from the source of suction (such as a pump or intake inlet) increases. The partition (or divider) of the instant invention can be removed and repositioned within the wash tank through the use of channels along the walls of the wash tank that receive the partition.
