Abstract: An electroformed composite component includes reinforcing particles in a metal matrix. The composite component is formed by a method including passing an electric current between an anode and a cathode in the presence of an electrolyte. The electrolyte includes a metal salt and a plurality of reinforcing particle precursors. The method further includes depositing a composite layer on the cathode, wherein the composite layer includes the metal matrix and the plurality of reinforcing particle precursors dispersed in the metal matrix. An optional heat treatment can be performed subsequently to transform the precursor particles to more stable forms with concomitant improvement in composite material properties.

Abstract: Embodiments of golf club heads, golf clubs, and methods to manufacture golf club heads and golf clubs are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head includes a hollow body portion defining an interior cavity and a front portion with a front opening, a face portion coupled to the front portion to enclose the interior cavity, a first filler material at least partially filling the interior cavity, a second filler material at least partially filling the interior cavity, and a plate portion inside the interior cavity. The plate portion at least partially separates the first filler material from the second filler material. Abstract: The disclosure may enable the mounting of a trim member and an end cap on a holder member to provide a flush fit and attractive door trim. Embodiments may enable the trim member and the end cap to be snapped onto the holder member without the need for any excessive force. The disclosed device and method may comprise mounting trim on refrigerator doors. Embodiments may include a support member that may be mounted on a side of the door, a holder member that may be mounted within the support member, a trim member that may be mounted on the holder member to cover at least a portion of the support member, and an end cap that may be mounted on the holder member to cover an end of the support member. Abstract: Mounting device for inserting insulation holders into insulation material, where the mounting device comprises a drive head adapted to drive the insulation holder through a central opening of the head portion of the mounting device, where the central opening is provided with a threaded portion, where the lead pitch of the threaded portion is at least 30 millimetres. The advantage of the invention is that insulation holders can be inserted into insulation material in an easy and cost-effective way. An insulation holder can be driven completely through the central opening since the insulation holder does not have a protruding head. The insulation holder is provided with a thread corresponding to the thread of the central opening, such that the insulation holder is screwed into the insulation material.

A blank includes the center of the component and is limited by an outer surface in the radial direction. The maximum dimension of the outer surface in the radial direction is smaller than the dimension of the limiting surface in the radial direction. A first subtractive process step is performed such that a part of the channel is manufactured by a machining process, with the part extending from the first end of the channel to the outer surface of the blank. Afterwards the channel is finished by a build-up process on the blank.
