  • Patent number: 7239053
Abstract: A vibrator motor has a stationary piece and a moving piece hinged at one end. The moving piece does not generate substantial internal spring forces under the influence of an electromagnetic field, because it does not have a tail bracket. Other parts of conventional motors are also eliminated, so the motor is easier and less expensive to manufacture. In addition, the motor can be assembled and tuned before installation, which increases the ability to automate assembly.

  • Patent number: 7231857
Abstract: A depaneling system is disclosed for cutting a panel. The depaneling system comprises a tooling apparatus and a cutting apparatus. The tooling apparatus helps hold the panel in place with suction during cutting of said panel and collects dust particles generated by the cutting of the panel. The cutting apparatus is comprised of a housing, a drive motor, a cutting unit, and a drive connector. The housing separates the drive motor from the cutting unit. The housing comprises a first section and a second section separated by a dividing member. The drive connector, such as a belt, passes through the first section of the housing. The second section of the housing forms a path for the dust particles.

  • Patent number: 7231849
Abstract: A computer controlled all-in-one reel mower sharpener and roller alignment system can be rolled under a mower to be conditioned. No removal of the cutting unit is needed. A linear voltage displacement transducer (LVDT 715 or a mechanical dial indicator 7155; alternatively a friction wheel 7150 with a rotary encoder 7151 may be used, or any combination of sensors 715, 7155, 7151) or equivalent instructs the machinist how to align the front and rear rollers in parallel. A laser scanner or probe determines the location for the cutter, and then the machining head sharpens each blade automatically. A separate cutter sharpens the bed knife. Most all mowers can be conditioned based on the laser or probe calibration of the blade size. The laser or probe measures the height of cut by sensing the blade location.

  • Patent number: 7210384
Abstract: A punch and die tooling apparatus commonly used by metal fabricators for creating holes, passages and cavities in metal plate, the die having a unique internal bore which relieves the problem of slug pulling to ensure that a slug punched out of a metal sheet is not retained on the punch face to interfere with further operation of the apparatus. The die is provided with a substantially horizontal ridge and a corresponding horizontal land and relief space formed within the bore to facilitate tipping of the slug relative to the punch and thereby break any attachment between the slug and the punch face which causes slug pulling.
