Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for managing messages in an instant messaging chat session. A computer receives a directed message in the instant messaging chat session, wherein the directed message includes an identification of one or more accounts associated with individuals in the instant messaging chat session. The computer determines accounts associated with individuals in the instant messaging chat session that correspond to the directed message, wherein the accounts associated with individuals that correspond to the directed message include an account associated with an individual that sent the directed message, and the one or more accounts associated with individuals identified in the directed message. The computer displays directed message notifications to the determined accounts associated with individuals that correspond to the directed message.

Abstract: A system for managing email failure notification. The system comprises a data store to store message identifiers for sent emails and a local server computer. The local server computer comprises an analyzer application stored in the memory that, when executed by the processor, analyzes an email return notification comprising information about a failed email, wherein the analyzer application obtains the email return notification via the return path address defined in the return path attribute, reads an entry from the data store based on a message identifier in the email return notification, and updates the entry based on the message identifier. The local server computer further comprises a resolution application stored in the memory that, when executed by the processor, reads entries from the data store associated with failed emails, builds a table on a website with failed email information, and maintains statistics for failed emails.

Abstract: A device may receive traffic to be processed by one or more cloud computing resources associated with a cloud computing service provided via a cloud computing environment. The device may determine enforcement policy information associated with the traffic. The device may determine an aggregated performance metric associated with the traffic. The aggregated performance metric may be based on information associated with the one or more computing resources that are assigned to process the traffic. The device may determine a maximum performance metric associated with the traffic, and the maximum performance metric may be identified in the enforcement policy information. The device may compare the aggregated performance metric and the maximum performance metric, and may manage the traffic based on comparing the aggregated performance metric and the maximum performance metric.

Abstract: A non-transitory computer readable storage medium, comprising executable instructions to collect network traffic data, produce a Fourier signature from the network traffic data, associate the Fourier signature with a known pattern, collect new network traffic data, produce a new Fourier signature from the new network traffic data, compare the new Fourier signature with the Fourier signature to selectively identify a match and associate the new network traffic data with the known pattern upon a match.

Abstract: Techniques for providing live content at different quality levels to a user device include advertising content availability at multiple quality levels for selection by the user device, receiving a quality level selection from the user device, wherein the quality level selection matches one of the advertised multiple quality levels, determining whether the received quality level selection differs from a currently used quality level, when it is determined that the received quality level selection is different from the currently used quality level, reconfiguring a transcoder to transcode the live content to only the received quality level, and updating a metafile to include a first quality level at a first bitrate lower than a bitrate for the received quality level selection and a second quality level at a second bitrate higher than the bitrate for the received quality level selection.

Abstract: A computer implemented method and apparatus for providing fault tolerance during live streaming. The method comprises creating a global manifest comprising a plurality of first entries extracted from a first manifest, wherein the first manifest comprises one or more entries of a predetermined sequence, each entry corresponding to a media fragment to be played in the predetermined sequence on a media player; identifying a gap in the plurality of first entries; receiving a second manifest; and upon receiving a second manifest comprising at least one second entry, extending the global manifest to include the at least one second entry, wherein the at least one second entry comprises a second entry that is in sequence after a last entry in the global manifest, and the at least one second entry in sequence after the last entry in the global manifest does not include a gap.

Abstract: Managing contact groups entails receiving email header information for electronic messages sent during a certain period of time. Each header includes unique identifiers for the sender and each recipient. The set of these unique identifiers from each header forms a de facto group. For each group, the process computes a usage value based on the number of distinct messages corresponding to the group. The process also identifies a set of saved groups, where each saved group is a set of unique identifiers of people, and each saved group has a usage value. The usage value is 0 when the saved group does not equal any de facto group. The process compares the de facto groups and their associated usage values to the saved groups and their associated usage values, and provides a recommendation to modify the set of saved groups based on the comparisons.

Abstract: More than one TDF session for a user in a PCC architecture are coordinated. There are provided PCRF server, PCEF devices and TDF devices, and method of coordinating a PCEF session and the more than one TDF session. The method includes: establishing or modifying at a PCRF server a PCEF session for an IP-CAN session; selecting at the PCRF server more than one TDF device; determining at the PCRF server an order in which each selected TDF device is to be involved, and access information required by each selected TDF device; initiating a TDF session, providing applicable ADC rules and routing information indicating a next TDF device to be involved, from the PCRF server towards each selected TDF device; and submitting from the PCRF server to the PCEF device PCC rules for the IP-CAN session along with routing information indicating a first TDF device to be involved.

Abstract: The presently disclosed subject matter includes at least a method, system and a program storage device of estimating click through rate (CTR) of a pair of source and recommendation, the source comprising a plurality of slots, each slot configured to present a served recommendation. The CTR estimation is performed by first determining an estimated calibration CTR coefficient for each slot and then using this information for calculating an estimated CTR of a given slot when served with a given recommendation in a given source.

Abstract: A method for providing interne services for socialization purposes sends an identity data and a location data to a server. The method further converts the identity data and the location data into a profile status data. The method further retrieves a social organization and a character profile of the identity data and determines whether the character profile satisfies a predetermined condition. The identity data is given an authority for predetermined privileged operations or given a right of organization selection. In another embodiment, the identity data is belongs to a social organization having a territory. The method calculates a movement distance based on the location data and the territory, as well as a length of movement time based on the movement distance and a character profile of the identity data. The length of movement time is proportional to the movement distance but is inversely proportional to the character profile.

Abstract: A method, system and apparatus for automatically unsuppressing threads are provided. A message associated with a suppressed thread is received, using a communication interface of device. The suppressed thread is automatically unsuppressed by a processor of the device when one or more of: the message is from a contact that is flagged in a contact list; and, the contact that is flagged in the contact list has been added as a recipient of the message as compared to at least a last message in the suppressed thread.
