Abstract: A circuit configuration applicable to systems such as consumer electronics devices enables communication between components such as integrated circuits connected to the bus. According to an embodiment, the RUN power supplies are turned to an OFF state in response to a fault condition. An interface circuit associated with an integrated circuit coupled to the bus controls the loading on the bus caused by the interface circuit and the integrated circuit such that communication between devices on the bus can continue. Therefore, even when a fault condition results in the loss of the RUN power supplies, a command can be transmitted over the bus from a first integrated circuit in a powered state to a second integrated circuit in the powered state while a third integrated circuit connected to the bus is in an unpowered state.
Abstract: An improved digital cut-off control loop for black level adjustment in a video processor for controlling RGB output signals. The improved circuit advantageously provides a higher resolution of the black level adjustment, and a short cut-off convergence time when the TV set is switched on. The improved circuit can also blank the RGB output when the cut-off control loop has not converged to the correct level.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a system for dynamically defining individual channel behavior from a variety of tuner sources within an integrated PC/TV apparatus. The system includes a channel server database including a master channel list of all channels provided by various tuner sources within a PC/TV apparatus. Each channel within the database list includes various parameters and data associated therewith defining the behavior of the channel independently of other channels within a listing. A number of channels server functionalities enable a user to dynamically access and alter the channel parameters and data to tailor channel behavior to a user's personal preferences.
