  • Patent number: 11488082
Abstract: Described is a method and system for verifying the end-to-end distribution of messages within an on-demand services platform. To provide the ability to monitor and trace such messages, the system may include a specialized and queryable datastore (or database) that allows the system to track the distribution and acknowledgement of messages throughout the services platform. Accordingly, a specialized verification process may be initiated to query the database to verify the receipt of a message has been acknowledged by various components within the system. In addition, the verification process may automatically retry the distribution the messages to ensure particular downstream components have received the message. Accordingly, the system alleviates the need to manual re-crawl various message source to ensure the end-to-end distribution of such messages.

  • Patent number: 11361017
Abstract: Techniques are described that exclude use of “stop-fingerprints” from media database formation and search query to an automatic content recognition (ACR) systems based on media content fingerprints updated by stop-fingerprint analysis. A classification process is presented which takes in fingerprints from reference media files as an input and produces a modified set of fingerprints as an output by applying a novel stop-fingerprint classification algorithm. Architecture for the distributed stop-fingerprint generation is presented. Various cases, as stop-fingerprints generation for the entire reference database, stop-fingerprints generation for the individual reference fingerprint files, and temporal fingerprint classification obtained through intermediate steps of the temporal fingerprint classification algorithm are presented. A hash-based signature classification algorithm is also described.

  • Patent number: 11360991
Abstract: A method dynamically combines multiple data sources. A user selects a first group of fields that specify primary aggregation for a data visualization. When a field in the first group is not a data field in one of the data sources, the process creates a second group of fields that specifies an intermediate aggregation for joining data sets that is more granular than the primary aggregation. For each data source, the process aggregates measure fields according to the second group to form a respective intermediate data set. The process forms a single combined data set from the intermediate data sets, including the fields specified in the first group, and aggregates each measure field in the combined data set using the primary aggregation to form a final data set based on the fields from the first group. The process then displays the data visualization using the final data set.

  • Patent number: 11354331
Abstract: A database export system exports data using a plurality of nodes that process the data to generate structured result files that are partitioned by an export parameter in an export request. The database export system distributes the data and merges the files to avoid small file creation and increase processing speed via parallelism. The database export system generates the result files of a specified maximum size in a final format, where the files are processed merged in a temporary file format. The parallel processing is optimized and constrained per the amount of processing nodes, available memory, requested final file sizes, and operation based ordering to complete data exports in a scalable multi-stage approach.

  • Patent number: 11243919
Abstract: A mechanism is provide for preparing a high-quality data repository. Data and related metadata from a set of data sources are ingested thereby forming a set of unprepared data. The set of unprepared data is transformed based on a set of functions into a set of transformed data. A set of semantic text descriptions that detail the transformation of the set of unprepared data to the set of transformed data is generated using a first set of semantic associations, a second set of semantic associations, and a set of semantic transformation associations. The set of transformed data is tested against one or more governance policies that tracks data lineage to ultimately show that prepared data is in compliance. Responsive to the set of transformed data adhering to the one or more governance policies, a high-quality data repository is automatically built using the transformed data.

  • Patent number: 11232085
Abstract: Random cut trees are generated with respective to respective samples of a baseline set of data records of a data set for which outlier detection is to be performed. To construct a particular random cut tree, an iterative splitting technique is used, in which the attribute along which a given set of data records is split is selected based on its value range. With respect to a newly-received data record of the stream, an outlier score is determined based at least partly on a potential insertion location of a node representing the data record in a particular random cut tree, without necessarily modifying the random cut tree.

  • Patent number: 11226980
Abstract: Systems and methods for replicating containers in object storage using intents are disclosed. A DS processing unit, upon reception of a write request may determine the location of replicated instances for the container. DS processing unit can then generate an intent for each fork, to indicate a specific write request received. The DS processing unit may save or persist intent objects within one of the containers, or in a dispersed data structure. A DS unit or DS processing unit may then check for intents whose operation has not been completed, and when resources to perform the operation are available, perform the operation specified in the intent. DS processing unit can remove a pending intent once the job or operation is complete. A clean-up agent could run periodically to complete unfinished jobs that are pending within DS processing unit or DS unit due to containers not being available for whatever reason.
