Abstract: A trigger mechanism for use in a crossbow comprises a housing having a first slot formed in a first side and a second slot formed in a second side opposite the first side. A trigger lever, a bowstring catch and a disarm mechanism are all moveably mounted in the housing. The catch has a first end configured to engage the trigger lever and a second end configured to retain the bowstring in a cocked position. The disarm mechanism is partially positioned in the second slot and is moveable between a fixed first position proximate the housing second slot toward a second disarm position toward the housing first slot. As the disarm mechanism moves from the first position into the second position, it engages the trigger lever causing it to move out of engagement with the catch first end allowing the user to release the bowstring using the bowstring cocking device from the trigger mechanism without having to engage the trigger.

Abstract: A trigger mechanism for use in a crossbow having a bowstring, the trigger mechanism comprising a housing having a slot formed therein, a trigger lever pivotally mounted in the housing and having a trigger that extends partially outside the housing, a catch pivotally mounted in the housing, and a disarm mechanism received in the housing that is moveable between a neutral first position and a disarm second position. The catch has a first end configured to retain the bowstring in a cocked position and a second end configured to operatively engage the trigger lever. When the disarm mechanism is in the disarm second position and the user draws the bowstring further into the housing slot, the trigger mechanism is configured to allow the catch to move from the catch first position into the catch second position without requiring the user to engage the trigger (e.g., squeezing or pulling the trigger).

Abstract: A snowboard trainer (SBT) includes an SBT platform, a slide rail, slide supports, a central stand, and a front interface. The slide rail extends from a first end to a second end. The slide supports connect the slide rail to the SBT platform. The slide supports are configured to support the slide rail relative to the SBT platform. The central stand is positioned relative to the slide rail on the SBT platform and positioned between the first end and the second end of the slide rail. The central board receiver is connected to the central stand. The front interface is configured to be secured to a front portion of a snowboard. The front interface includes a roller bearing sized to be retained in the central board receiver such that when the roller bearing is received in the central board receiver, the front interface three-dimensionally rotates relative to the central stand.

Abstract: Described herein include various implementations of a ball funneling net that can capture sport balls, such as baseballs, directed into the ball funneling net. The ball funneling net can include a ball directing feature, such as a funnel, and a releasable restraining element that controls the sport balls from being released from the ball capturing net, such as from a distal dispensing end. In some implementations, a user can pick up a part of the ball directing feature and release the releasable restraining element thereby allowing any sport balls captured in the ball capturing net to exit the distal dispensing end. For example, the ball funneling net described herein can improve training efficiency in sports, such as baseball and softball, as well as reduce damage to equipment and improve user experience.

Abstract: A golf ball sensing apparatus for use with a portable electronic device including a data acquisition device and a processing unit, and in association with a golf club and a cup. The apparatus includes a golf ball, at least one sensor carried by the ball and a non-transitory computer-readable medium. The sensor senses at least one attribute of the ball. The medium directs a processing unit to identify the initiation of a first stroke of the ball towards the cup, obtain a first final location after the first stroke, obtain the at least one attribute of the first stroke, store a set of associated data regarding the first stroke, obtain a second initial location of the ball prior to a subsequent second stroke, and output portions of the stored set of data in response to the second initial location being within a predetermined zone of the first initial location.

Abstract: Disclosed is a toy racetrack having a toy vehicle launching section that, in a first configuration of the racetrack, launches a toy vehicle toward and through the open, central portion of a loop track section, preferably to impact a target, and in a transformed configuration of the racetrack, launches a toy vehicle through the track portion of the loop track section and preferably toward a catch tray. Two loop track sections are pivotably mounted to a tower, and target flags may be pivotably mounted to a loop section mounting block positioned at the top of the tower. Once one of the target flags is struck by a toy vehicle, an internal transformation mechanism is triggered that causes the loop track sections to pivot into a track engaging position in which the loop sections form terminal track portions for the track segments in the launching section of the racetrack.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a gaming-table support locking apparatus including a first hinge bar, a second hinge bar, and a tab connector. The first hinge bar is connected to a first bar of a gaming-table and includes a tab notch. The second hinge bar is connected to a second bar of a gaming-table, is rotatably connected to the first hinge bar, and includes a window. The tab connector includes a base, a locking section, and a release section. The base is configured to connect to the second hinge bar at the window. The locking section extends through the window for engaging the tab notch to form a secure connection. The release section, connected to the locking section, extends through the window for receiving a force from a user. The release section may be depressed toward the base, causing the locking section to disengage from the tab notch.

Abstract: The present invention provides a bullet collecting box which is installed with a plurality of rubber plates in the bullet collecting box having a rectangular parallelepiped shape and filled with rubber powder filling materials having a particle size of 0.1 to 3 mm therein, thereby collecting the bullets fired in the indoor shooting range without damage, and a bullet collecting system which can be used by installing the bullet collecting box in the indoor shooting range. Also, the present invention provides a bullet collecting system for preventing occurrence of lead fume in the indoor shooting range, in which the beaten zone of the indoor shooting range is newly improved from an existing system of using an iron plate to a system of using powder filling materials, thereby preventing the leakage of lead fume, and contributing to an early normalization of the shooting range and a creative national defense.

Abstract: A crossbow track assembly includes a crossbow track having a top surface and a side surface. The top surface includes an arrow track. The side surface includes a longitudinal passage leading to a longitudinal cavity. The side surface forms an upper shoulder and a lower shoulder of the longitudinal cavity. A second side surface may include a second longitudinal passage leading to a second longitudinal cavity. The second side surface may form an upper shoulder and a lower shoulder of the second longitudinal cavity. The crossbow track assembly may further include a crossbow accessory including an accessory body operatively connected to a plug, which is dimensioned to fit within the longitudinal cavity of the crossbow track for securing the accessory body to the crossbow track. The accessory body may be adjustably connected to the plug with a fastener. Alternatively, the plug may be in sliding engagement with the longitudinal cavity.

Abstract: Rotatable and hinged goal posts are operably rotatable so that the goal post may rotated to a first position with the uprights being disposed toward a playing field such as for use when playing football, and to second position where the uprights being disposed away from the playing field such as for use when playing soccer. In addition, the rotatable and hinged goal posts are operably pivotable from a raised orientation and a lowered orientation, and vice versa.

Abstract: A compact slingbow/quiver combination including first and second arms joined by a generally central cross piece. Slingbow arms are interconnected by at least one latex band for projecting arrows. Central cross piece includes an internal centerfire aperture for receiving arrows for launching. A rest and guide element with pliable bristles is secured within the centerfire aperture to support arrows without damage to fletching. The band includes an intermediate nocking segment adjustably positioned at the centerfire aperture to engage arrow nocks. Slingbow arms include internal storage chambers. At least one chamber is configured as a quiver for arrow storage; other chamber(s) may store other items for the archer. The central cross piece projects rearwardly of the slingbow where it (1) receives an arrow for launch and (2) absorbs band impact thus avoiding wrist slap. Slingbow arms and central cross piece may be conveniently and inexpensively constructed from detachable polyvinylchloride conduit elements.

Abstract: A kit and method for playing and providing training for a golf-type game comprising at least one ball, at least one throwing apparatus such as a throwing rod, and at least one target unit, wherein golf-type game is played similar to golf, except that instead of golf clubs, a throwing rod advances a ball towards at least one target. Further the target unit is a container that contains a weighted granular substance. The throwing rod is operable to enable a player to grasp the rod by a handle, retain the ball between a pair of elongated, arced rails, and throw the ball with a whip-like motion over a long distance towards the target, much the same way as a driver used in a typical golf game. Further, the throwing rod is also adapted to enable the player to putt the ball towards the target for shorter distances.

Abstract: A crossbow with a stirrup disposed on the distal end of the body, the stirrup including an arrow protector disposed along the arrow trajectory, on the first end of the body, to generally circumvent the arrow, when the crossbow is used in conjunction with the arrow. An arrow protector adapted to be retrofitted on a crossbow is encompassed by the present application. An arrow protector improving stability of the crossbow when axially resting on the ground is also presented herein.

Abstract: Table tennis ball storage devices provide a convenient place to store and retrieve table tennis balls during a game of table tennis. The ball storage device has an inner storage volume for receiving and retaining table tennis balls that is accessible from two openings, one designed to place table tennis balls into the storage volume and a second designed for removing table tennis balls. The first opening may be conveniently located on a playing end of a table tennis table and the second opening may be located on either the left or right side of the table tennis table. The first opening has a different shape than the second opening.

Abstract: A lacrosse head pocket and a related method of manufacture are provided to facilitate consistent, repeatable and/or custom manufacture of lacrosse equipment. The pocket can be constructed from multiple different sections joined with one another, or can be knitted, weaved or otherwise assembled on an automated assembly machine from strands, and/or can be formed as a unitary textile material having regions/sections with different physical and/or mechanical properties. The pocket can be integrally molded within portions of a lacrosse head to eliminate manually constructed connections between the pocket and lacrosse head. The lacrosse head can be integrally molded with a lacrosse handle to provide a one-piece unitary lacrosse stick. Related methods of manufacturing also are provided.

Abstract: A peep sight for an archery bow includes a peep sight body with a sight aperture extending therethrough. The sight aperture has an inner surface to create a sight window with a central axis. A rear sight post is located in the sight aperture for alignment with a sight pin or the like of a front sight mounted to the riser of a bow. The rear sight post has a width sufficiently wide to ensure at least a portion of the rear sight post is viewable when in the aiming position in close proximity to the eye yet on the other hand, yet sufficiently narrow to allow ambient light to illuminate the sides of the sight post.

Abstract: A lacrosse head pocket and a related method of manufacture are provided. The pocket can be a molded pocket including individual molded strings, combined strings, shooting strings and support rails extending around a perimeter of the pocket. Certain pocket elements can include transition parts to smoothly transition components having different cross sections. The pocket can include a pre-formed ball channel and hole units having broadsides for connection to a head or other component. The pocket can be attached to a pocket frame, and optionally constructed from a mesh or other synthetic material that is tensioned with the pocket frame. A mold and related molding method are also provided.
