Abstract: A Sanitary Portable Single-Use Floss Device (SPSFD), designed to enable a user to carry a single-use portion of dental floss in a manner that protects the dental floss from contamination during storage or transportation, such as in a pocket or a purse, is disclosed; the device comprising a spool, a length of dental floss wound about the shaft of the spool, the dental floss being protected from contamination by the spool, and a grab ball or ring functioning as a means to hold the length of dental floss in the stowed condition, and as a means of holding the deployed length of dental floss for use. A method of using said SPSFD is also disclosed.

Abstract: An attachment for a hand held appliance comprising an inlet; an outlet; and a fluid flow path between the inlet and the outlet, wherein the outlet comprises at least one slot extending from near an inlet end of the attachment towards a distal end of the attachment and wherein the outlet is at least partially defined by an external surface of the attachment wherein fluid emitted from the outlet is blown along the external surface. The slot extends substantially along the length of the attachment. The outlet comprises slots radially spaced around the attachment. Fluid emitted from the outlet flows around the external surface of the attachment, tangentially to the external surface, and is attracted to the surface of the attachment. The attachment has a longitudinal axis extending from the first end to the distal end and the at least one slot may be parallel to the longitudinal axis.

Abstract: An apparatus for applying wraps includes a handle, an arbor, a roll of material received on the arbor; and a tubular attachment having an interior space within which the arbor and roll are received. The first tubular attachment includes a slot through which material from the roll is dispensed and a slidable panel for opening and closing passage through the slot. A second tubular attachment also defines an interior space for receiving the arbor and comprises elongate protuberances defining a brush for brushing hair. Preferably the first and second tubular attachments are releasably mountable, interchangeably, and mutually exclusive in their mounting to a base of the apparatus from which the arbor extends.

Abstract: A heated paddle hairbrush includes a novel bristle arrangement which establishes a large surface area for contacting the length of hair during grooming while also creating a serpentinous path through which the length of hair must traverse thereby enhancing the grooming effect on the hair.

Abstract: An application element and an applicator comprising pluralities of said application elements on a molded support is provided for applying a product such as a cosmetic, a medicinal or a care product. At least one application element of the applicator includes a base portion and at least one thin projection. The thin projection includes at least one surface and wherein the at least one outer surface flushes with at least a portion of an outer surface of the base portion.

Abstract: A magnetic hair extension apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus can use a magnet, which enables the apparatus to be conveniently applied and removed from the hair of a user. The apparatus includes a first portion having a magnet and a hair weft, and a second portion having magnetic material and a hair weft. To wear, the second portion is placed over the first portion with the hair of the user sandwiched between the first portion and the second portion. The magnet is attracted to the magnetic material and thus, can securely attach the apparatus to the hair of the user. A combination of these materials results in an easy to use, easy to remove, easy to transport, and harmless hair extension apparatus.

Abstract: A hair brush has a semi-circular configuration, and has a head having a support member with a plurality of apertures therein that accommodate a plurality of bristles each having a hollow therein, and has a rear having an elongated hollow therein that complements the semi-circular configuration. When air is applied to the bristles, each bristle communicates with the aperture so that air can flow through the openings of the bristles, the aperture and outward through the hollow in the rear of the hair brush and away from the hair of a user. When air is applied to the hollow in the rear, the air is directed through the apertures and bristles onto the hair of the user.

Abstract: A dispensing brush assembly containing and selectively dispensing a hair care product includes a brush that is selectively manipulated thereby facilitating the brush to groom hair. The brush has a reservoir therein to contain a fluid. A plunger unit is movably coupled to the brush and the plunger unit is selectively manipulated. The plunger unit is in fluid communication with the reservoir to selectively urge the fluid outwardly from the brush. In this way the fluid may be urged onto the hair to enhance grooming.

Abstract: A dual member hair roller device designed to produce spiral curls for hair lengths that vary from medium short to very long and comprised of a flexible, permeable, elongated supporting roller body with a lateral surface that is capable of gripping fabric; and a detached, elastic, permeable fabric sleeve that safely and securely affixes to the gripping surface of the roller body.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a foundation container comprising a pump having convenient pressurization and, more specifically, to a foundation container comprising a pump having convenient pressurization, wherein the outer wall of a pump main body is formed in the shape of an inwardly concave janggu (a Korean traditional hourglass drum), thereby not delimiting a pumping method to vertically pressurizing the center of a pump upper body, but facilitating the discharge of the contents even though any region of the pump upper body is pressurized. In addition, the present invention relates to a foundation container comprising a pump having convenient pressurization, wherein productivity is improved due to easy mass production by integrating a pump upper body and a pump main body in one body and forming a discharge valve and a suction valve in the same shape so as to simplify the structure of a pump.

Abstract: A process for treating keratin fibres may include applying a hair treatment composition to the keratin fibres. The composition may comprise at least one of fatty substances, surfactants, polymers with a glass transition temperature (Tg) ranging from about 40° C. to about 150° C., oxidation dye precursors, and direct dyes. The process may also include inserting the keratin fibres into a device comprising two elements that are moveable relative to each other between an open position and a closed position. In the closed position, the two elements may define a substantially leaktight closed space. The process may further include moving the two elements into the closed position to confine the keratin fibres in the closed space, and heating the keratin fibres to a temperature ranging from about 40° C. to about 250° C. while the keratin fibres are confined in the closed space.

Abstract: Provided is an electric grinder. The grinder includes a swing motor and a grinding head driven by the swing motor. The swing motor further includes a U-shaped yoke, four permanent magnets and a swing arm. Alternating magnetic poles can be generated at end faces of the two legs under control of a control circuit. The four permanent magnets are sequentially distributed on the same circumference of a circle having the fulcrum as a center. The control circuit generates alternating pulses with adjustable pulse widths, which change the moving direction of the permanent magnets alternately, so that the permanent magnets move back and forth. The swing arm drives the grinding head to reciprocate at a high speed with small swinging amplitude, thereby cleaning the body surface (skin, nails or the like) of living bodies including human beings and animals.

The second curved jaw has a proximal end portion and a curved distal end portion. An axle is coupled to the proximal end portions of the first and second curved jaws, thereby permitting the first and second curved jaws to pivot relative to one another between an open position and a closed position. The clip also has a biasing element disposed between the proximal end portions of the first and second curved jaws. The biasing element applies a biasing force to both the first and second curved jaws such that in a rest position, the first and second curved jaws are in the closed position.

Abstract: Process and device for making hair buns is disclosed. The invention described here reduces the effort and shortens the amount of time necessary to form a hair bun that remains in place for an extended period of time without the use of bobby pins or other hairpin devices.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to hair styling apparatuses and related methods. The hair styling apparatus includes a heated barrel defining a stationary hair styling surface, a rotating member configured to rotate around the stationary hair styling surface, and a burn prevention cover. The rotating member includes a tab fixedly extending along a longitudinal length of the stationary hair styling surface over less than an entire longitudinal length of the hair styling surface to gather and wind a user's hair around the stationary hair styling surface without clamping onto the wound hair.

Abstract: An eyeliner guide and method of applying eyeliner that allows a user to steadily and neatly apply eyeliner is disclosed. The eyeliner guide includes a handle portion, a neck member and eyelid contact member. The eyelid contact member may be removably attached to the handle, and may be angularly adjustable in clockwise or counterclockwise fashion. In use, the eyelid contact member is placed against a user's eyelid, and eyeliner may be applied to a user's eyelid by tracing along the curved head of the eyelid contact member to form a straight, neat makeup line.

Abstract: An esthetic apparatus and method for use in the application of cosmetics is disclosed herein. The esthetic apparatus includes an elongate member that can be at least partially wrapped around the hand, wrist, and/or arm of a user. A palette for holding an esthetic product can also be coupled to the esthetic apparatus.
