The opening/closing body opening/closing device includes a carrier plate that carries an opening/closing body, and a guide rail that guides movement of the carrier plate in a lifting and lowering direction of the opening/closing body. The carrier plate includes, at an upper end portion, a water holding section that holds water reaching the upper end portion of the carrier plate from above. The water holding section includes a water receiving section that faces upward and receives the reaching water, and an outflow preventing section provided with a preventing surface that faces the water receiving section side and prevents the water from flowing out to the guide rail.

    Abstract: A vehicle barrier gate arm has an anti-roll end cap which prevents the gate arm from rolling when it has become detached from its gate operator. The end cap comprises a distal outer panel and three or more protrusions positioned radially equidistant along the periphery of the distal outer panel. The protrusions extend outward from the distal outer panel perpendicular to the gate arm. The protrusions may form a square, triangle, trapezoid, or cross and may taper inward in a proximal direction or may meet the outer cuff at a sharp angle. Furthermore, an outer and inner cuff form a friction fit with the end of a gate arm to removeable attach the end cap to the distal end of the gate arm.

    Abstract: A door opener capable of controlling the door closing speed includes a driving device and a generator mode operating module electrically connected to the driving device. The driving device includes a motor which can be supplied with power to pivot a door from an open position to a closed position. The driving device detects the position of the door by a switch. When pivotal movement of the door is achieved without supplying power to the door, the pivotal movement sets the generator mode operating module to a generator mode or a non-generator mode. In the generator mode, the motor is impeded by the electromagnetic resistance, such that the pivoting speed of the door is reduced. In the non-generator mode, the motor is not impeded by the electromagnetic resistance, such that the pivoting speed of the door is increased.
