Abstract: Embodiments of the present specification provide a service recommendation method, apparatus, and device. During operation, the system obtains, based on historic information associated with a target user, a user feature and a service-usage feature of the target user for a service; determines a service recommendation scheme by inputting the user feature, the service-usage features, and a service feature of the service into a machine-learning model for recommending services; and recommends a service to the target user based on the determined service recommendation scheme.

Abstract: A method for workforce scheduling by a computer system is provided. The method includes receiving a first workforce schedule describing initial assignments of a plurality of workers to a plurality of shifts, each shift comprising one or more work activities, each work activity comprising an activity and a time interval, and storing the first workforce schedule in a memory. The method also includes receiving a cell size associated with each activity, and determining a quantity of workers in each work activity associated with each activity in the first workforce schedule. The method further includes determining cell size violations by dividing the quantity of workers assigned to each work activity by the cell size for the activity associated with the work activity. The method also includes modifying the first workforce schedule to minimize cell size violations, resulting in a second workforce schedule, and storing the second workforce schedule in the memory.

The order manager is configured to identify engineering information for an aircraft project including a group of three-dimensional drawings, places the engineering information into the template using an information policy, and create a work order for performing a group of tasks for the aircraft project from the template using a work order policy, enabling performing tasks for the aircraft project on an aircraft.

Abstract: Methods and systems assist data center customer to plan virtual data center (“VDC”) configurations, create purchase recommendations to achieve either an expansion or contraction of a VDC, and optimize the data center cost. Methods generate recommendations on lower cost combinations of virtual machine (“VM”) guest OS licenses, server computer hardware and VM software to optimize the costs are generated, generate data center customer plans for additional VMs with Quest OS for a projected period of time, provide recommendations on lower cost combination of guest OS licenses, server hardware, and VM software to optimize the cost. Methods also report any underutilized licensed servers and provide recommendations for cost savings when volume licenses can be replaced by instance based software licenses. Methods may generate VM placement recommendations to data center customers while the customers attempt to manually migrate VMs to different server computers.

Abstract: In a system and method for managing evacuations of buildings, in response to detection of a fire, a control panel initiates an alarm condition and activates annunciation devices to signal that an evacuation of the building is required. A positioning and evacuation system tracks locations of occupants in the building and the progression of the fire. The positioning and evacuation system generates individualized evacuation paths for the occupants, which are transmitted to and displayed on mobile computing devices of the occupants. Additionally, the positioning and evacuation system generates turn by turn directions of the individualized evacuation paths, which are displayed on three dimensional maps or with augmented reality on the mobile computing devices of the occupants.

A score for each electronic device is generated and a comparative analysis is executed for the electronic devices with respect to the values and recycling options. Recommendations associated with the values and recycling options are generated and presented to the user via the mobile hardware device. The user selects a recycling option with respect to the recommendations and a recycling process associated with the recycling option selection is enabled.

Abstract: Embodiments relate to analyzing developmental progress and productivity of users based upon monitored activity features, and inferring expected levels of productivity for future time intervals. By analyzing code check-ins submitted by a user over a time interval, as other features associated with user activities during the time interval, a metric indicating a level of quality or productivity for the time interval can be determined. Based upon the determined metrics for the time intervals, expected levels of productivity for the user can be inferred for future time intervals.
