  • Patent number: 10173413
Abstract: A rotary printing machine includes a printing cylinder, at least one clamping unit mounted on a printing surface of the printing cylinder, and a feeding control mechanism and an unloading control mechanism mounted to a lateral side of the printing cylinder for changing the clamping state of the clamping unit. When the clamping unit is moved to an unloading position, the unloading control mechanism can be operated to control the clamping unit to maintain a closed state, so that a workpiece can be brought by the printing cylinder to a feeding position again. Then, the feeding control mechanism can be operated to control the clamping unit at the feeding position to maintain a clamped state, so that printing can be repeated on the workpiece to form multiple layers of ink and create three-dimensional printed layers showing a specific visual effect.

  • Patent number: 10150198
Abstract: A method of inspecting a cutting blade having a cutting edge formed of abrasive grains of selected abrasive grain diameters which are bound by a bonding material, includes a cutting step of moving the chuck table and the cutting blade, which is being rotated at a high speed, relatively to each other along a direction perpendicular to an axis of rotation of a spindle, thereby forming a cut groove in the workpiece, and an inspecting step of capturing an image of the cut groove formed in the workpiece by image capturing means, and inspecting the state of the cut groove. The inspecting step examines whether or not the selected abrasive grain diameters are proper on the basis of any of the elements representing the size of an average chip, the number of chips, and the area of chips on both sides of the cut groove per unit length.

  • Patent number: 10145770
Abstract: A conveyor or drive chain wear monitor includes two sensors spaced apart from one another a predetermined distance which is less than the distance between the two selected measuring points on a chain. Two timers are provided, one of which is a chain speed timer and the other of which is the chain wear timer. The two timers are both controlled by the spaced sensors. The problem of sensor beams being broken by irrelevant beam breaking obstacles located between the successive spaced measuring points is solved by providing an ignore obstacle software routine in the wear monitor computer. The ignore obstacle software routine allows a user to program the monitor to ignore any number of irrelevant obstacles which might occur between two spaced measuring points on a chain.

  • Patent number: 10131175
Abstract: A print pattern of a printing plate used in intaglio printing includes plural partition walls and a groove-shaped cell unit. The plural partition walls are continuously extended in a printing direction, and arranged at predetermined intervals in an orthogonal direction. The cell unit is formed between the partition walls adjacent to each other, and a printing paste (conductive paste) is retained in the cell unit. Plural printing direction walls that are arranged in a zigzag manner in the printing direction are coupled to each other by a coupling walls that are arranged in the printing direction walls adjacent to each other in the printing direction, thereby forming the partition wall.

  • Patent number: 10124572
Abstract: Provided is a method for automatically adjusting the contact pressure between an intaglio cylinder and a wiping roller that further limits the amount of defective prints generated. The method adjusts said contact pressure by changing the position of the wiping roller shaft center with respect to the intaglio cylinder shaft center using a contact pressure adjustment motor. At least the position of the wiping roller shaft center at low speed and the position of the wiping roller shaft center during printing operation for which the contact pressures have been optimized during a previous printing are stored. Before starting the current printing operation, the wiping roller is moved to the stored low speed position. Then when the current printing operation is started, the wiping roller is moved to the stored printing operation position.

  • Patent number: 10125600
Abstract: A system and method of sensing fluid in a wellbore, where fluid along a range of radial locations in the wellbore is diverted along a flow path that runs adjacent a fluid sensor. Diverting the fluid from the range of radial locations provides a representative sample of the fluid flowing in the wellbore. Further, the diverted fluid forms a continuous volumetric flow past the fluid sensor to avoid fluid stagnation adjacent the fluid sensor. Diverting the fluid flow can be accomplished by elongate diverter wings attached at discrete circumferential locations around an outer surface of a fluid sensor and that project at oblique angles to the direction of flow. Elongate members can be used for diverting flow, where the distal ends of the elongate members attach to a downhole tool, and vane members span across selected adjacent members for directing flow to the sensor.
