Abstract: In an apparatus (1) for stapling sheets (10) deposited in stacks, stapling devices (6 and 7) are attached to a pivotable support (3) which is movable from a locked operating position (position I) into an easily accessible service position (position II). The stapling devices (6 and 7) are attached in easily detachable fashion to holders (4 and 5) which are guided displaceably on the shaft (8) and can be set to different stapling positions by a follower mechanism. Attached releasably to each of the holders (4 and 5) is a mounting plate (44 and 45) on which the stapling devices (6 and 7), and all the components necessary for operation thereof, are releasably attached. The support (3) is movable into a position (position II) in which access is possible to the stapling devices (6 and 7) and the mounting plates (44 and 45) via a sheet stack depositing area (13) of the apparatus (1) which is accessible from outside the apparatus.

Abstract: A compressor piston divides a first compartment into two compression chambers, while a hammer piston divides a second compartment into two drive chambers, each of the compression chambers being connected to a respective one of the drive chambers to form a closed fluid system wherein reciprocation of the compressor piston causes cyclic compression and expansion of the fluid in the compression chambers and thus in the drive chambers, to effect a cyclic impacting of the hammer piston with a bit adapter connected to the drill bit. A mud motor rotates a shaft to drive an oscillator which reciprocates the compressor piston. The oscillator can comprise roller elements in the compressor piston in engagement with canted grooves in the shaft. While drilling mud drives the motor and then passes downwardly to flush the drill bit and the borehole, the drilling mud is isolated from the closed fluid system.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an intake reed valve with a raised, annular valve seat and steel reed for an internal combustion fastener driving tool.
Abstract: A multi-usage electric tool includes an angle-changeable grip, a main body and an electric tool head. The grip and the main body are formed with corresponding inclined adjoining faces for movably connecting the grip with the main body. The inclined face of the grip is disposed with a guide rib and the inclined face of the main body is disposed with an arch guide slot. The guide rib is slidably fitted in the guide slot, whereby the grip can be rotated relative to the main body through a certain angle along the guide slot so as to change the angle contained by the grip and the main body. One end of the main body is disposed with an engaging mechanism and one end of the tool head is disposed with an engaging mechanism corresponding to the engaging mechanism of the main body for detachably engaging the tool head with the main body. The tool head is easily replaceably assembled with the main body, whereby a user can conveniently change the tool head for different usages.
Abstract: A wire mesh stapling device 10 including a pair of handle members 20 pivotally secured together as at 27 by a fastening element 42 which is connected to a bracket member 40 having a lower end 44 which is pivotally secured to a staple feeding magazine 50 for feeding staples 100 to the jaw element 30 on the lower end of the lower arm portions 22 of each of the handle members 20.
Abstract: A line feeding device 10 for releasable engagement with a staple gun 100 wherein the device 10 includes a line feeding unit 11 provided with a mounting unit 12 for attachment of the line feeding unit 11 to the staple gun 100 for delivering a supply of line 31 through the staple feeding magazine 103 of the staple gun 100. A line guide unit 13 positions the line 31 proximate a rear opening 108 in the staple gun 100.
Abstract: A second pinion is rotatably supported around an intermediate shaft and slidable in an axial direction of the intermediate shaft. A pinion sleeve is fixed to the intermediate shaft. A first clutch mechanism selectively engages and disengages the second pinion with and from the pinion sleeve to selectively transmit and interrupt a rotational force of a motor to a tool attached on a front end of a hammer drill. A sleeve is supported around the intermediate shaft so as not to be rotatable about the intermediate shaft but slidable in the axial direction of the intermediate shaft. A motion converting member is rotatably supported around the intermediate shaft. The motion converting member converts the rotational force of the motor into the percussion force. A second clutch mechanism selectively engages and disengages the motion converting member with and from the sleeve to selectively transmit and interrupt the percussion force to the tool.
Abstract: A rotary hammer comprises an electric motor having its longitudinal axis perpendicular to the axis of the hammer spindle and the tool holder. A single switching element activates and deactivates the hammer mechanism and the rotary drive for the tool holder. The switching element has an eccentric actuating section extending parallel to the main axis of the switching element, acting on a coupling part to activate and deactivate the hammer drive. The switching element has a cam section acting on a slider part to engage and disengage a coupling sleeve (non-rotatable on the hammer spindle) with a drive sleeve to thereby engage and disengage the rotary drive of the hammer spindle.
Abstract: A percussion tool, such as a drill or a chisel tool, including a percussion mechanism (7), a tool chuck (1), and a damping member (8) arranged between the tool chuck (1) and the percussion mechanism (7) for damping rebounds of a header (9) axially displaceable in the tool chuck (1), with the damping member (8) having, arranged one after another in the operational direction, a stop disc (86), an elastic ring (83), and a transmission element (81) having a cavity for receiving both the stop disc (86) an the elastic ring (86).
Abstract: A machine for automatically packaging pasta strips of wide flat type, in particular pasta known as lasagne, having at least two matching conveyors provided with a plurality of containing elements, which carry stacks of pasta strips from a horizontal conveying position to a halted discharging position rotated through 90.degree., adjacent transfer devices being provided to insert the reconstituted stacks into packaging containers carried into a halted position in succession by a further transporting device, the conveyors and transporting device being motorized in mutual stepwise synchronism.
Abstract: System and method for packing loose fill materials in bags to form cushions for use in protecting articles in shipping cartons. The bags are produced from a length of flexible plastic tubing which is gathered or bunched to form a coil which is disposed about the outlet of a loose fill dispenser. A section of the tubing is pulled from the coil, and its lower end is closed to form a bag which is then filled with loose fill material dispensed through the outlet. Another section of tubing is then pulled from the coil, and the tubing is drawn together to close the upper end of the first section and the lower end of the second section. The closed ends are secured with tape, and the tubing is severed to separate the first section from the second. The cushions thus formed are placed in the shipping cartons with the articles, and in some embodiments are compressed and reexpanded in conformance with the contour of the articles.
Abstract: A package bag expanding device includes a box and a pivotable cover which has a hole defined therethrough. A frame includes two first rods and a second rod respectively extending laterally therefrom. At least one package bag has two holes defined therethrough, a recess defined in an upper edge thereof and an opening defined therein below the holes. The two first rods extend through the two holes and the second rod is received in the recess. A pressing mechanism is fixedly disposed to one of two side walls of the box and includes an arm pivotally connected thereto which has a distal end rested on a periphery defining the opening of the package bag.
