Abstract: The present invention relates to a disc case 1, which alternates conventional disc cases made of a plastic resin. The disc case 1 is capable of housing a disc body 100 having a periphery with a radius R100. The disc case 1 comprises a base layer 41 extending to a cover layer 43 via a crease 42, the base layer 41 with the cover layer 43 being foldable in two at the crease 42; a first layer 11 provided above the base layer 41, the first layer 11 having a first opening 12 formed in a circle corresponding to the periphery of the disc body; a second layer 21 provided on the first layer 11, the second layer 21 having a second opening 22 formed in a partial circle in a size to pass the disc body, and covering a part of the first opening 12; and a third layer 31 provided between the base layer 41 and the first layer 11, the third layer 31 having an third opening whose periphery supports the periphery of the disc body. The disc body is capable of inserted from the second opening 22 and fitted in the first opening 12.

Abstract: This invention relates to a single-piece carrier for unitizing a plurality of containers with a retainer sheet integrated with a carrier sleeve. The retainer sheet comprises a plurality of container receiving openings for engaging a top portion of each container while the carrier sleeve surrounds the plurality of containers. Packages preferably comprise two or more layers of containers within the carrier sleeve separated by a divider.

Abstract: A multi-pack packaging sleeve comprising first and second pack receiving pockets each having at least one open end for insertion of product packs. A vertical hinge line is positioned between the pockets, and a vertical slotted opening between the pockets extends from one end of the hinge line. Each pack receiving pocket is constructed and arranged to receive a single product pack, or multiple packs may be received within at least one of the pockets. Closure flaps may be provided to close one end of each pocket.

Abstract: A kit for holding and displaying coins and paper money. Each sheet for holding coins has two overlying clear vinyl sheets and a third backing sheet. The front sheet has a slit used to insert or remove a coin and is formed in the cover sheet to retain a coin. Behind the clear cover sheet is a display page sheet with indicia thereon that when properly aligned with the cover sheet displays information relating to the coins. The display page for paper money has sheets for holding the paper money and flaps with snap fit seals to protect the paper money.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a tool holder convertible between storage and display configurations and a method of manufacture therefor. In one embodiment, the tool holder includes a flexible wrapper including first and second parallel major and minor edges and a fold line located between the first and second major edges. The first minor edge includes a first notch proximate a corner thereof. The tool holder also includes a first fastener including first and second portions located proximate the first and second minor edges, respectively, that is alignable in opposition to allow a coupling of the first and second minor edges.

Abstract: A novelty storage device is disclosed for holding personal items in a form simulative of a baseball-style cap comprising a cap member formed having a crown portion transversely sectioned to provide an open back and a support panel fitted and secured to the open back of the crown portion. The present device further comprises a container member having a rectangular receptacle and a separate ledge panel formed upwardly and disposed forwardly of the receptacle to provide a channel therebetween for releasable engagement of the support panel and assembly of the container member to the cap member. The container member may be modified in its form to provide the receptacle in a variety of configurations and may be further provided with a lid as closure for the receptacle. In the preferred embodiment, the cap member is provided with a front bill relative to the sectioned crown portion but may be alternatively formed without the bill and made simulative of the back of the baseball-style cap.

Abstract: An easy load packaging system, and a stand and a dunnage conversion machine therefor are disclosed. The stand includes a base and a pair of upright guide members mounted to the base and supporting at the upper ends thereof a dunnage conversion machine. The guide members define there between a channel for guiding sheet stock material to the dunnage conversion machine. The dunnage conversion machine is pivotable relative to the stand between an operating position and a servicing/loading position whereat access to internal components of the machine is simplified. A stack of sheet stock material is jacketed and/or baled for simplified loading into a packaging system or stand. An adhesive layer on the bottom or top of the stack enables the stack to be easily spliced to another stack.

Abstract: The present invention presents a system for packaging fire suppressing material. An outer membrane is configured to support and release a fire suppression material when impacted by a ballistic or incendiary round. An inner membrane is configured to support and release the fire suppression material when impacted by a ballistic or incendiary round, and the inner membrane and the outer membrane is connected to form at least one cell holding the fire suppression material. In accordance with other aspects of the invention, the inner and outer membranes suitably form a bubble pack filled with a fire suppression powder. Further, the inner and outer membranes may be combined with a lightweight honeycomb panel to form a lightweight and simple system to support fuel tanks.

Abstract: A packaging structure useful as retention and suspension packaging. The packaging structure comprises a frame and a film connected to the frame. The film comprises first and second layers. The first layer is an outer layer of the film and comprises polyethylene polymer having a density of at least about 0.910 g/cc. The first layer comprises no more than about 20% of the total thickness of the film. The second layer comprises ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer having a density of less than about 0.910 g/cc. The film has an elastic recovery in each of the transverse and longitudinal directions of at least about 60% measured according to ASTM D5459-95 at 100% strain, 30 seconds relaxation time, and 60 second recovery time.

Abstract: A swab assembly is provided which includes a swab fitted with an absorbent material at one end of a stick, and a holder for releasably capturing the swab. The holder includes a connecting bridge area with a central groove traversing along a length direction thereof flanked by first and second gripping wings, the wings being sufficiently flexible to bend between a relatively non-stressed and a stressed position allowing the stick, respectively to be engaged and to be released from the groove.

Abstract: The disk carrier is used to house and secure a plurality of disks and comprises a disk cassette having an open top, an open bottom, and end wall ingresses; a top cover; and a bottom cover. The top cover has flaps to cover the end wall ingresses. To reduce particulation from opening and closing the disk carrier, one embodiment of the disk carrier implements an articulation in the flaps. Another embodiment implements a living hinge on the bottom cover. The disk carrier also has a path to ground for dissipating static and other electrical charge away from the disks.

Abstract: A form for a package for holding consumer articles including optically-based media. The form is a base sheet with a central section and a series of foldable adjoining flaps extending from the central section in alternate first and second directions. The flaps are adapted to be folded over the central section and then secured to the central section for mounting one or more holders, such as one or more trays for digital video disks. The invention includes the package made from the form and a method of making the form from a blank sheet of paperboard material.

Abstract: A surgical kit, for example a percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy kit, includes a tray having a plurality of recesses formed therein for receiving surgical implements. A substantially rigid accessory item container is received in a container recess defined in the tray. The container is removable from the tray and includes a base member and a lid. A securing device may be configured between the base member and the lid so that the container is reclosable.

The apparatus comprises a nest assembly having an interior defining a nest for receiving a package. The nest is formed by a plurality of sidewalls each having an interior surface, an exterior surface, and an end surface extending between the interior and exterior surfaces. In one embodiment, the interface between the interior surface and the end surface is constructed and arranged having at least a portion of the interface surface substantially conforming to the shape of the angled portion of the leads.
