  • Patent number: 11566864
Abstract: A bow (e.g., compound bow, cross bow, etc.) that includes a cable splitter. The cable splitter is easy to install in that it does not require access to the yoke ends of the bow string. The cable splitter is self-anchoring to the cable. In addition, the cable splitter eliminates the need for a separate saddle and separate section of cable. The cable splitter also allows for tuning for cam lean by adding or removing twist in the yoke ends.

  • Patent number: 11543207
Abstract: A handheld pull tension archery release includes a handle containing a finger opening having an axis arranged normal to a plane containing the handle, a ring sear assembly arranged in the handle, and a bail connected with the handle for rotation about an axis parallel to the opening axis. The bail is configured to grip a bowstring. When the ring sear assembly is actuated, a ring sear arranged in the housing rotates about the finger opening axis from a hold position engaging the bail to a release position releasing the bail to free the bowstring and fire an arrow. Rotation of the ring sear is in response to pull tension on the bowstring and actuation of a thumb trigger connected with the handle. A locking lever is connected with the handle and operable between a locking position wherein said locking lever engages said ring sear assembly to retain said ring sear assembly in the hold position and a release position wherein said locking lever is disengaged from said ring sear assembly.

  • Patent number: 11512924
Abstract: A bow assembly includes a bow body assembly that pulls a string to shoot an arrow by a force generated by a rebound of an elastic body, where the bow body assembly is pivotally connected to a winding assembly for winding the string; and the winding assembly slides from a first position of the bow body assembly to a second position of the bow body assembly through a sliding assembly. The bow assembly involves manual winding, but the manual winding process will not exert any force on a limb, and a winding wheel can be moved by driving the sliding assembly by pedaling. In a shooting phase, the winding assembly is fixed relative to a bow body. In addition, the energy efficiency enhancer enables the winding wheel to continue to rotate after a limited number of revolutions. Further, as the winding wheel will not stop abruptly, noise is reduced.

  • Patent number: 11512934
Abstract: A dual spreading arrowhead has components and operations that cut on contact with an animal. The dual spreading arrowhead has a left blade and a right blade mutually pinned to a head. The head secures to a shaft of an arrow. The left blade and the right blade each have a pointed tip and two sharpened edges. Opposite the tip, each blade has a rounded foot that travels within a slot through the head and upon a shaped spacer. Between the foot and the tip, each blade has a spine not sharpened. The arrowhead has a flight position with the tips near each other but not overlapped and a deployed position with the blades rotated outwardly and the sharpened edges mutually forward. The arrowhead utilizes the momentum of the flying arrow shaft to adjust the invention from the flight position to the deployed position.

  • Patent number: 11512921
Abstract: A crossbow includes a frame, where the frame is provided with an arrow track for placing an arrow; the crossbow includes at least one limb; the limb includes a fixed end and a movable end; the movable end is moved toward the fixed end under pressure, such that two sections bent in opposite directions are formed on the limb to make the limb wave-shaped; the movable end is moved in a reverse direction to make the limb restored; and a primary string of the crossbow is directly or indirectly connected to the movable end of the limb. The limb of the crossbow can generate large elastic potential energy and can reduce the kinetic energy consumed by translation, and avoids the problem of different strokes between multiple limbs. The crossbow prevents the winding wheels from translating to consume the kinetic energy, such that the arrow can gain sufficient kinetic energy.

  • Patent number: 11504640
Abstract: Systems and methods of detecting launch of a model rocket are described herein. A mechanically implemented launch accelerometer may be disposed on a model rocket. The launch accelerometer may detect acceleration of the rocket by a mass of the launch accelerometer moving relative to the rocket and against a spring force based on the rocket acceleration. The mass may comprise a first electrical contact that may contact a second electrical contact when the mass is accelerated beyond a threshold, which is indicative of launch of the rocket. The contact between the first electrical contact and the second electrical contact may complete an electrical circuit. Furthermore, at least one pin may lock the mass in a position allowing the electrical circuit to remain complete.
