Abstract: A pair of scissors has a first blade, a second blade, a first grip connected to the first blade, a second grip connected to the second blade, a torsion spring disposed between the first grip and the second grip, and a hook ring fastening the first grip and the second grip movably. The first grip has a first upper handle and a first lower handle coupled to the first upper handle. The second grip has a second upper handle and a second lower handle coupled to the second upper handle.

Abstract: A straight line saw guide is provided including a base slidable along a table saw. A movable top is slidably situated on a top face of the base and further adapted to be fixed with respect thereto. The movable top is adapted to move in a direction perpendicular with respect to the movement of the base. Further, the movable top serves to abut a piece of wood situated on the base. Finally, at least one clamp assembly is included for maintaining the piece of wood fixed with respect to the base and movable top.

Abstract: A rip guide for a circular saw. The circular saw includes a housing including a shoe plate for supporting the circular saw on a workpiece. The circular saw also includes a motor supported by the housing and a saw blade rotatably driven by the motor about an axis. The saw blade is operable to cut the workpiece in a cutting direction. The guide comprises a support member supported on the housing; an arm supported by the support member and extending from the housing in the cutting direction; and a guide member supported by the arm so that the guide member is pivotally supported by the support member. The guide member extends from the housing in the cutting direction. The guide member includes first and second guide surfaces for selectively guiding the circular saw relative to first and second edges, respectively, of the workpiece. The guide member is pivotable between a working position and a stored position.

Abstract: A method of cutting a block of fibrous material for further recompression from a rectangular bale of fibrous material in which the bale is first positioned with the string side up. Slabs are cut from the bale generally parallel to the longitudinal axis and between parallel wrappings of baling twine to form a cut slab of predetermined width which is still wrapped with baling twine. The cut slab is laid over on to its side, the baling twine is removed from the slab, and the slab is cut into suitable sized pieces for recompression wherein the stems and grass blades are oriented generally parallel to each other but vertical and transverse to a longitudinal center line of the cut block.
