  • Patent number: 11318064
Abstract: Embodiments of the improved stimulation device include a cup and a driver. The cup has a cavity surrounded by a rim. The driver comprises a plate disposed on an underside of the cup, a cam disposed adjacent to the plate, and a motor mechanically coupled to the cam. The driver is configured to intermittently vary a volume of the cavity of the cup from a first volume to a second volume without returning the cup from the second volume to the first volume. In some embodiments, the cup returns from the second volume to the first volume, in between intermittent varying from the first volume to the second volume, due to the resilient nature of the material of the cup and/or the configuration of the cup. This varying of the volume between the first and second volumes creates a pressure field in a chamber formed by the cavity and a user's skin.

  • Patent number: 11311382
Abstract: According to an aspect, an inflatable penile prosthesis includes a fluid reservoir, an inflatable member, and a pump assembly. The pump assembly includes a pump bulb, a valve body, a push valve movably coupled to the valve body, a first fluid port, and a second fluid port. The push valve includes a movable valve element configured to move between an inflation position and a deflation position within a bore of the valve body. The movable valve element in the inflation position defines a fluid passageway through the bore to transfer fluid from the pump bulb to the second fluid port. The movable valve element, when moved to the deflation position, is configured to change the fluid passageway through the bore to transfer fluid from the second fluid port to the first fluid port such that the pump bulb is bypassed.

  • Patent number: 11298846
Abstract: A device for loading brachytherapy seeds and spacers into a sleeve. The device holds two or more seed or spacer cartridges of different radioactive species and dosage. The user rotates a selector for selecting a desired cartridge and, with each depression of a spring-biased plunger, pushes a seed or spacer into a channel in an inspection area. The process is repeated for the desired number and order of seeds and spacers in sequence to form a strand. The strand can be seen in the channel with the unaided eye through a transparent window. Once the strand is arranged as desired, it is pushed into a sleeve that is held in a removable sleeve holder. If desired, the end portions of the filled sleeve may be cut off using a sleeve cutter to shorten the filled sleeve. The filled sleeve is implanted into patient using a needle.

  • Patent number: 11298281
Abstract: An infant care device includes a mattress and mattress tray configured to support a baby and an enclosure/barrier surrounding the mattress to create a chamber around the baby. A plurality of sensors, such as load cells, are distributed beneath the mattress and mattress tray. A control unit receives information from the load cells and is able to determine the position of the baby on the mattress. A safe zone and a potential fall zone are defined in the control unit. When the determined location of the baby is within the potential fall zone, the control unit operates a resistance mechanism to restrict movement of the baby toward a perimeter edge of the mattress and generates an alarm. Multiple embodiments of the resistance mechanism are disclosed to restrict the movement of the baby.

  • Patent number: 11285006
Abstract: According to an aspect, an inflatable penile prosthesis includes a reservoir configured to hold fluid, an inflatable member, and a pump assembly configured to facilitate a transfer of a fluid from the reservoir to the inflatable member. The pump assembly includes a pump bulb, and a valve body defining a fluid passageway. The valve body includes a refill valve disposed in the fluid passageway. The refill valve includes a valve member. In response to the pump bulb being compressed, the valve member moves within the fluid passageway in a first direction to a closed position in which the valve member blocks the fluid from being transferred around the refill valve. In response to the pump bulb being uncompressed, the valve member moves within the fluid passageway in a second direction to an open position in which the valve member allows the fluid to transfer around the refill valve.
