  • Patent number: 9011114
Abstract: This disclosure relates to medical fluid delivery sets and related systems and methods. In some aspects of the invention, a medical fluid cassette includes a plunger slidably disposed within a recess of a base of the cassette such that a substantially liquid-tight seal is maintained between the plunger and the base as the plunger slides axially within the recess. The plunger and the base cooperate to at least partially define a fluid pump chamber. When the plunger is displaced in a first direction, fluid is forced out of the fluid pump chamber, and when the plunger is displaced in a second direction, fluid is drawn into the fluid pump chamber.

  • Patent number: 8974191
Abstract: An air compressor includes a motor, an air compression mechanism driven by the motor, a rotation shaft rotatable integrally with a rotor of the motor, a fan rotatable integrally with the rotation shaft, a plurality of air tanks for reserving compressed air generated by the air compression mechanism, and a control unit for controlling the motor. The plurality of air tanks are juxtaposed with each other and arrayed in an array direction. The plurality of air tanks includes an endmost air tank and an adjacent air tank adjacent to the endmost air tank. The control unit is disposed adjacent to and opposite to the adjacent air tank relative to the endmost air tank. The control unit is disposed adjacent to and in confrontation with an outer circumference of the fan.

  • Patent number: 8920142
Abstract: A sealing liner for use in a pump motor incorporates a radially enlarged portion at one end, and a radially smaller portion extending from the one end to an opposed end. A length of the overall sealing liner including the radially smaller portion and the radially enlarged portion is defined as a first length. A length of said radially enlarged portion is defined as a second length. A ratio of the first length to the second length is between about 6.5 and about 8.5. A stator assembly, a pump and a method are also disclosed.
