Abstract: A method and system for routing intelligence information related to security. The security system provides rules that identify conditions and routing instructions that are to be applied to intelligence information. A security organization may create and modify rules to ensure the appropriate routing of intelligence information in a timely manner. The security system may receive intelligence information from various sources. Regardless of the form or source of intelligence information, the security system analyzes the intelligence information to determine whether any conditions of the rules are satisfied. When a condition of a rule is satisfied, the security system sends a notification of the intelligence information in accordance with the routing instructions for that rule. In this way, intelligence information can be automatically and quickly routed to the appropriate security personnel for further processing.

According to one embodiment, a method comprising identifying a first profile in a social network, identifying associated profiles associated with the first profile, ranking the associated profiles, wherein ranking is not based exclusively on a degree of separation, and outputting the associated profiles based at least in part on the ranking is set forth. According to another embodiment, a method comprising identifying a user profile, identifying a member profile, determining an association path for the user profile and the member profile, and outputting the association path is set forth.

Abstract: A licensing service is disclosed that can be used in a virtual environment. A master license can be used by the licensing service to maintain a pool of licenses associated with a customer number. Multiple ephemeral licenses can be issued from the pool. The ephemeral licenses can have a short duration to ensure periodic renewal of the ephemeral licenses during the life of the master license. Tighter control of the licenses ensures that the ephemeral licenses are only used during the life of the master license. Additionally, autoscaling is promoted through the use of the license pool, which can adapt according to actual use.

Abstract: Systems and methods for managing legal obligations for data are provided. In exemplary embodiments, an information portal is established which provides a visual interface of legal obligations and workflow required to be administered by IT personnel. At least one legal obligation may be determined. Based on the legal obligation, workflow for performing the legal obligations is generated for IT personnel. The workflow may comprise instructions to personnel responsible for data management of one or more affected systems containing the data. The instructions are then provided via the information portal.

Abstract: The APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR ADVANCEMENT PATH TAXONOMY (“APT”) provides mechanisms allowing advancement seekers to identify, map out, structure and interact with various advancement paths to the seeker's goals. In one embodiment, the seekers are career advancement seekers, and the APT provides mechanisms allowing the seeker to explore various career paths and opportunities. In one embodiment, the APT interacts with a statistical engine, which allows seekers to map their experiences to various advancement states in the statistical engines state structure. By so doing, it allows seeker to explore multiple paths based on various criteria, and allows seekers to plan their career goals. In the process, the APT may establish a taxonomy connecting experience information with attribute information (and many other types of information) through states in a state structure. In other embodiments, the seekers may be students wishing to advance their academic advancements.

Abstract: In particular embodiments, a method comprises maintaining a database of connections between a plurality of members of an online social network, creating a new entry for a new user in the database responsive to the new user joining the online social network, determining whether the new user joined the online social network in response to a request from an existing user of the online social network, and if the new user joined the online social network in response to a request from the existing user, then sending a prompt to the new user to confirm the relationship between the new user and the existing user.

The method includes receiving a request from a user to apply for the employment position corresponding to the job board posting. The method also includes submitting a job application for viewing by the job poster. The job application includes at least a portion of the user information from the user profile corresponding to the user. At least a portion of the user information included in the job application is pulled from the user profile.

The method may include receiving a plurality of job seeker values and a plurality of job provider values corresponding to at least one attribute. A member may not communicate with another member if the measure of relatedness between the two is greater than the contactability preference of the other member.

Abstract: A system for tethering a plurality of avatars to a user on a social networking website having a first avatar association to the user accessing the social networking site which is held in a database, and a second avatar association to the same user. The first avatar association connects the user to an avatar image that the user wishes to project, and the second avatar association connects the user to a third party advertiser that has its own avatar. Optionally, the user has a third avatar association connecting the user to the avatar of the website sponsor. A webserver generates web pages for the social networking website in response to a remote PC's request and, relying upon the stated avatar associations, delivers a webpage having the two or three avatars adjacent to a one another and adjacent to a communicative activity of the first user on the social network website.

Abstract: A computer system and method is disclosed for paperless Form I-9 processing, and for automating employment eligibility verification. The system and method displays a series of screens with fillable fields configured to receive immigration information. After substantial completion of the fillable fields by a user, the system displays an affirmation screen with affirmation language necessary to meet a statutory requirement for a valid electronic signature and an interface element affirming such language. Only after the interface element has been actuated is a file containing the completed fillable fields marked with an indication that the file has been electronically signed. The employment eligibility verification aspects disclosed utilize a database and server architecture to receive information provided on an electronic I-9 or other electronic employment eligibility form and perform computerized employment eligibility verification queries with the Federal Government.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer usable program product for improved manufacturing and distribution to avoid counterfeit products in a supply chain are provided in the illustrative embodiments. For manufacturing to avoid a counterfeit product, a product to be manufactured is selected. Production volume information is determined, the production volume information including a number of units of the product to be produced. An identifier of a manufacturer of the product, an identifier of the product, and the production volume information are sent and several sets of identifiers are received. Each set of identifiers include identifiers corresponding to a customer reference number (CRN), a customer acknowledgment number (CAN), and a merchant acknowledgment number (MAN). One set of identifiers is uniquely associated with one unit of the product being produced. A unit of the product is manufactured such that the unit includes a corresponding set of identifiers.
