  • Patent number: 11859400
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to fence bracing apparatus having a tension adjusting module(s) to diagonally brace a fence post(s) and/or adaptive fence bracket(s) for flexibly bracing the fence post(s) for various fence configurations. In an illustrative example, a fence tensioning module may include a tension regulation module coupled to a tension adjusting link. For example, the fence tensioning module may adjust a position of the tension adjusting link relative to the fence tensioning module so that a tension of the tension adjusting link is adjusted. The adaptive fence bracket, for example, may include a butterfly clamp and an adaptive C-bracket having two sidearms configured to couple, for example, to fence rails and/or other tension members to form various fence bracing configurations. The butterfly clamp, for example, may include a ridge portion to engage a blade of the fence post. Various implementations may advantageously provide adaptive and secure fence construction.

  • Patent number: 11840842
Abstract: A latch assembly includes a latch body having a longitudinal wall portion extending from a front wall portion to a rear hinge portion, first and second latch members assembled with the longitudinal wall portion and laterally movable between an extended position and a retracted position, and a hinge bracket. The hinge bracket defines a mounting surface and is hingedly attached to the rear hinge portion of the latch body for angular adjustment of the latch body with respect to the mounting surface. When the latch body is oriented at a first angle, first and second mounting apertures in the front wall portion align with first and second mounting apertures in the hinge bracket, such that installation of mounting fasteners through the corresponding first and second mounting apertures of the front wall portion and the hinge bracket secures the latch body at the first angle.

  • Patent number: 11828068
Abstract: A multi-directional railing support includes a fastener having a first threaded end that attaches to a substrate and a second threaded end. A securing portion is attached to the second threaded end and includes outwardly extending resilient flanges. The securing portion and the second threaded end define a receiving stud. The securing portion is axially adjustable relative to the second threaded end to adjust a clearance space between the securing portion and the substrate. A baluster includes a hollow end that extends over the outwardly extending resilient flanges of the receiving stud. The outwardly extending resilient flanges cooperate with the hollow end to provide for movement of the baluster toward the substrate and contemporaneously prevent movement of the baluster away from the substrate. The outwardly extending resilient flanges bias the baluster toward a rotational axis of the fastener.

  • Patent number: 11818988
Abstract: An irrigation system having a pipeline supported by one or more towers includes an improved truss connection system having a means for readily adjusting a crown height of the pipeline. A pair of cooperating members define a joint which selectively couples headed ends of adjacent truss rods together to form a truss rail of a truss system that supports the pipeline. A single fastener may fasten the cooperating members, a strut, and a cross-member together at the joint. A length of the truss rail may be decreased by holding the truss rods closer together. In an aspect, the headed ends of the adjacent truss rods are held closer together by inserting a shim in one of the joints. Decreasing the length of the truss rail increases the deflection of the pipeline and raises the crown height.
