  • Patent number: 10646089
Abstract: A touch sensing device of a robot, comprising an inner housing and an outer housing continuously surrounds the inner housing at least at the side face of the inner housing. At least one resilient member used for maintaining an even moving gap between the outer housing and the inner housing and at least one sensing switch used for detecting relative displacement between the outer housing and the inner housing are disposed between the outer housing and the inner housing. The disclosure further provides a robot for mounting the touch sensing device. Since the outer housing surrounds the inner housing, no matter what portion of the robot is colliding with the obstacle, relative displacement occurs between the inner housing and the outer housing, and the robot can detect the collision. Thus the outer housing can provide buffering function from 360° perspective around the robot and detect the touched obstacle.

  • Patent number: 10639989
Abstract: A control device is mounted on a four-wheel-drive vehicle, and includes a detector and a vibration suppression controller. The detector detects the occurrence of a vibrating state, in which drive wheels and auxiliary drive wheels slip alternately in a four-wheel-drive state in which a drive force is transferred to the auxiliary drive wheels, or the occurrence of a preliminary state for the vibrating state. The vibration suppression controller reduces the drive force which is transferred to the auxiliary drive wheels via a drive force transfer device when the vibrating state or the preliminary state is detected by the detector. The vibration suppression controller reduces the drive force which is transferred to the auxiliary drive wheels on condition that a thermal load of the drive force transfer device is less than a predetermined threshold.

  • Patent number: 10639950
Abstract: A torsion trailer coupler is affixed to a trailer between the tongue and an adjustable coupler. The torsion trailer coupler has a trailer side that affixes to the trailer and a coupler side that affixes to the adjustable coupler. The trailer side has torsion tubes that carry torsion bars and the coupler side has torsion tubes that carry torsion bars. The torsion bars between the trailer and coupler side are connected with torsion arms. The torsion trailer coupler moves between an unloaded position where the torsion bars and arms are at rest and a loaded position where force is applied between the sides and the torsion bars rotate about their central axes. The torsion bars, arms and sides cooperate to absorb transient forces between a towing vehicle and the tongue of the trailer.
