  • Patent number: 9858584
Abstract: Systems and methods to facilitate advising management are provided. A communication connection between an advisor and an advisee may be facilitated. First data captured via an end-user communication device may correspond to one or more sensor inputs. A set of qualification rules that includes a set of criteria for qualifying advisees based at least in part on captured data relating to advisees may be accessed. A first set of information for the first advisee may be derived based at least in part on the first data and the set of qualification rules. The first set of information may include a first characterization of the first advisee. Indication, to a computing device of the advisor, of the first characterization of the first advisee may be caused at a time corresponding to the communication connection between the advisor and the first advisee.

  • Patent number: 9838370
Abstract: A cloud infrastructure system includes one or more computing devices and is configured to receive subscription order information related to one or more services subscribed to by a customer of the cloud infrastructure system, the service selected from one or more services provided by the cloud infrastructure system. The cloud infrastructure system receives a set of one or more mapping rules configured to map business attributes to resource provisioning information for one or more of the one or more services provided by the cloud infrastructure system. The cloud infrastructure system determines whether one or more business attributes in the subscription order information satisfy one or more mapping rules in the set of mapping rules and generates resource provisioning information for one or more resources associated with the one or more services based on resource provisioning information in the one or more mapping rules satisfied by the one or more business attributes in the subscription order information.

  • Patent number: 9798988
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system for selecting collaborators is described. A set of candidates for collaboration with an initiator is received. Initial contact scores for one or more member of the set of candidates are determined based upon, at least in part, one or more of initial availability and initial willingness. An initial ranking order for the set of candidates is determined. A member is selected from the set based upon, at least in part, the initial ranking order. An invitation to collaborate is provided to the selected member. If the invitation is accepted, a communication channel connection is established between the initiator and the selected member.

  • Patent number: 9760900
Abstract: A computer determines an RFM score for each of a plurality of contacts, each RFM score comprising a recency score, a frequency score and a monetary score respectively based on assigning recency values, frequency values, and monetary values of the plurality of contacts to groups. The computer generates trend factors, wherein the trend factors are based on the monetary values and timestamps of each of a plurality of transactions for each contact of the plurality of contacts. The computer generates a mean trend factor, based on the trend factors generated for each of the plurality of transactions for each contact of the plurality of contacts, and determines, by one or more processors, a trend adjusted RFM (tRFM) score based on applying the mean trend factor to at least one of the recency score, the frequency score, and the monetary score, for each contact of the plurality of contacts.

  • Patent number: 9692657
Abstract: A connected directed graphical representation of a process model that includes a plurality of process nodes and interconnections between the process nodes of the process model is displayed. A user selection of a subset of the process nodes of the displayed connected directed graphical representation of the process model is received. A process scope definition represented as at least one begin-end node pair is computed. The at least one begin-end node pair is usable to identify all selected nodes and interconnection path links that are reachable in a traversal from a begin node to an end node of each of the at least one begin-end node pair of the received user selection of the subset of the process nodes. The computed process scope definition is stored.

  • Patent number: 9679264
Abstract: Systems and methods used in human resource management systems. The method optimizes the assignment of permissions (e.g., ability to write to a database, ability to create a new account, etc.) to jobs. The method discovers relationships between jobs, duties and privileges by accessing an organization chart that relates a plurality of jobs, a plurality of specific duties to be performed within the purview of a given job, and a plurality of permissions for the respective duties of the job. The method then flattens the organization chart to enumerate the permissions inherited by the jobs. The method proceeds to mine the inherited permissions across the jobs to optimize the sets of permissions. The sets can be optimized (e.g., minimize number of sets, maximize coverage, etc.) and named so as to be conveniently assigned (e.g., by an HR person) to a job (e.g., in the case of a new employee).
