The media processing method includes: in a media file, describing position information and/or position change information of a user; and processing the media file to determine a video to be played. As such, by describing position information and/or position change information of a user in the media file, the video frame can be adjusted in real time according to the position of the user, thereby improving the quality of viewing by the user and improving user experience.

Abstract: Systems and methods for the optimized allocation of content within a universe of inventory are described. For example, a method may include receiving content comprising at least one characteristic and at least one goal. A universe of inventory may be accessed that comprises a plurality of targets which may be assigned into a plurality of segments based on at least one demographic vector. An allocation optimization model may be generated based on the at least one content characteristic, the at least one goal and the plurality of segments. The content may be presented to the targets based on the allocation optimization model. Viewing data may be received that comprises data associated with target consumption of the content and the allocation optimization module may be re-optimized based on the viewing data. Additional factors, such as resource constraints and/or filtering rules, may be used when re-optimizing the allocation optimization module.

Objects in the captured image or objects being viewed may be recognized, including any identifiable image, item, detail, or article and the like. A recognized object may then be compared to a target list to determine a match. If matched, and if there is additional content associated with the target object, the additional content may be presented to the user.

Abstract: A media presentation and distribution system includes a verification server that handles dynamic verification of playback of media assets on a client device. The client device generates support information for a media asset based on an associated asset identifier that is detected during a playback of the media asset on a client device. The client device further encrypts the support information for the media asset based on a client private key associated with the client device and an asset public key for the media asset. The playback of the media asset on the client device is verified based on a verification message, the support information, an encrypted verification message, and the associated asset identifier. A defined asset delivery criteria is satisfied and a deviation or an error with the playback of the media asset is identified based on the verification of the playback of the media asset.

Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods for filtering augmented reality (“AR”) data streams, and in particular, video and/or audio streams to change or remove undesirable content, such as personally identifiable information, embarrassing content, financial data, etc. For example, a handheld device may capture video using a built in camera, and as needed superimpose AR objects on the video to change its content. A cloud service may host an AR session between the handheld device and a remote machine. The cloud service and remote machine may also operate their own filter on the AR data to remove and/or replace content to comply with their interests, regulations, policies, etc. Filtering may be cumulative. For example, the handheld device may remove financial data before it leaves the device, and then the cloud service may replace commercial logos before sharing AR data between session participants.

Abstract: Techniques for presenting content by a voice-controlled device are described. In an example, the voice-controlled device is operatively coupled to a presentation device and supports dual mode functionalities. In a first mode, the voice-controlled device sends content for presentation at the presentation device. In a second mode, the voice-controlled device presents the content at a presentation interface of the voice-controlled device. Based on speech input from a user indicating an issue with a content presentation in the first mode, the voice-controlled device switches to the second mode and presents a message at the presentation interface indicating that subsequent content presentations would be presented at this interface. The voice-controlled device remains in the second mode until receiving additional speech input necessitating a switch to the first mode.

Abstract: Methods of encoding and decoding immersive video are provided. In an encoding method, source video data comprising a plurality of source views is encoded into a video bitstream. At least one of the source views is down-sampled prior to encoding. A metadata bitstream associated with the video stream comprises metadata describing a configuration of the down-sampling, to assist a decoder to decode the video bitstream. It is believed that the use of down-sampled views may help to reduce coding artifacts, compared with a patch-based encoding approach. Also provided are an encoder and a decoder for immersive video, and an immersive video bitstream.

For instance, a processing system including at least one processor may obtain a request for a first chunk of a first video, determine that the first chunk is not stored in a cache, and apply, in response to the determining that the first chunk is not stored in the cache, a classifier to predict whether the first chunk will be re-requested within a time horizon, where the classifier is trained in accordance with a set of features associated with a plurality of chunks of a plurality of videos. When it is predicted via the classifier that the first chunk will be re-requested within the time horizon, the processing system may store the first chunk in the cache.

Abstract: The present disclosure presents an improved system and method for displaying wind characteristics and effects in a broadcast. The method comprises utilizing a camera to record a broadcast, determining wind characteristics relative to the broadcast, and rendering graphics in a broadcast displaying the wind. In exemplary embodiments, wind is sampled via at least one sampling point in a venue and wind characteristics are displayed in the broadcast.
