Abstract: Disclosed are some implementations of systems, apparatus, methods and computer program products for implementing a customizable intent driven action triggering system. The system retrieves, for at least a first intent, a corresponding list of actions. The system provides, to a first client device associated with a first user account, a first graphical user interface (GUI) identifying the first intent, the list of actions, and for at least the first action in the list of actions, a corresponding user-selectable option configurable to indicate whether the first action is activated for the first intent in association with the first user account. The system processes a first request received from the first client device in association with the user-selectable option, where the first request indicates that the first action is activated for the first intent in association with the first user account.

Abstract: In one embodiment of the present invention, a method for multiple device interaction includes detecting an orientation of a first device relative to a second device. The method also includes detecting a first gesture performed with either the first device or the second device, wherein the first gesture causes a first action that is based at least in part on the orientation of the first device relative to the second device.

Abstract: A deployment server system may dynamically generate a user interface for a mobile application. The mobile application may comprise a set of interface pages and a set of workflow steps, and each workflow step may define a transition from a first interface page to a second interface page. The deployment server system obtains, from a mobile device, a workflow step request. The workflow step may include a transition from the interface page and transition data determined based on the interface page. The deployment server system determines a second interface page based on the interface page and transition data indicated in the workflow step request, generates a unit test for the second interface page. The deployment system validates the workflow step request by testing the second interface page using the generated unit test, and based on successfully validating the workflow step request, the deployment server may transmit the second interface page.

Abstract: Described herein is a computer implemented method for confirming the completion of an onboarding setup item of an IT Service Management (ITSM) system. The system comprises a first software platform, a second software platform and an intermediary onboarding platform operatively associated with a database for storing a state of the setup item, the setup item being associated with at least one of the first and second software platforms. The method comprises receiving input data associated with at least one of the first and second software platforms; querying the received input data against completion criteria that is dependent on a predetermined item type; updating a state of the setup item; and displaying a visual indication of confirmation of the completion of the setup item.

Abstract: A technique is provided for providing virtual services. The technique includes generating a virtual environment comprising a plurality of user interface (UI) objects that corresponds to a plurality of services provided by a service provider. The technique further includes rendering the generated plurality of UI objects on an electronic device of a user in a manner to provide a user experience (UX) to the user that emulates a physical experience of the user with the services provider. The technique further includes processing a request received from the user corresponding to a selection of a UI object from the rendered plurality of UI objects. The technique further includes providing a service to the user that corresponds to the selected UI object.

Abstract: A method includes displaying a first graphical representation on a screen. The first graphical representation includes a box-and-whisker plot of a dataset. The method also includes receiving a first interaction indication indicating a graphical user interaction by a user at a first interaction location on the first graphical representation. In response to the received first interactive indication, the method includes displaying a second graphical representation on the screen based on the first interaction indication, the second graphical representation including a density plot of the dataset having a respective scale equal to a corresponding scale of the box-and-whisker plot. The method also includes receiving a second interaction indication indicating the graphical user interaction by the user at a second interaction location on the second graphical representation, and in response, displaying an updated second graphical representation of the dataset on the screen based on the second interaction indication.

Abstract: Disclosed here is a system to enable interaction between a user with a disability and a computer program. The system can obtain a representation of a user interface to present to a user. The system can determine an element associated with the user interface, where the element is configured to provide information to the user, however, the user interface presentation of the element at least partially fails to provide the information to the user. Based on the element, the system can determine an appropriate test to perform. The appropriate test indicates at least two of: a test to perform with a keyboard, a gesture test to perform with a mobile screen reader, and an audio test to perform with a screen reader. The system can generate an indication of the appropriate test. The system can provide the indication of the appropriate test prior to releasing the user interface to the user.

Abstract: A method may include presenting an image capture user interface on a display device of a multipurpose device including a live view portion configured to display a live view of image data currently sensed by an image capture device of the multipurpose device and a recall portion configured to display a thumbnail preview of stored image data most recently captured by the image capture device; receiving an indication of a first touch input on the display device, the first touch input starting at a first position on or near the recall portion of the user interface; receiving an indication of a swiping gesture from the recall portion to a second position with contact being maintained of the first touch input; and in response to the first touch input, displaying an enlarged preview of the stored image data, the enlarged preview being larger in size than the thumbnail preview.

Abstract: Systems and methods electronically assist a user in searching for codes corresponding to items by using decision trees. Entities are often required to follow specific rules based on classifications, or codes, corresponding to items. The systems and methods described herein allow entities to easily search for and obtain codes corresponding to entities by facilitating navigation through multiple decision trees by navigating from one decision tree to another.

Abstract: A video display apparatus for displaying a catalogue of one or more candidate video items for replay, each video item being represented in the catalogue by a catalogue entry having at least one displayed representative image comprises a user control device operable to resize a displayed catalogue entry by a select-and-drag operation; and means responsive to a resizing of a catalogue entry to select a number of distinct representative images, for display in respect of that video item, so that the number displayed increases with increasing size of the catalogue entry while the display size of each representative image stays substantially constant with respect to changes in the catalogue entry size.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides technologies that enable users to graphically merge content displayed on a first computing device with content displayed on a second computing device by the use of a simplified gesture. For example, a user can hold a portable computer displaying content up to a screen of another computer displaying other content. The user can position the portable computer to align the rendering of the content with a rendering of the other content. Measurements of the alignment are processed to determine a location that is used to graphically merge the content of the portable computer at a specific location within the other content. A scaling factor can be used to control the size of the content that is placed within the other content. The scaling factor can be based on a user gesture, preference data, or knowledge of a computing device.

Abstract: Tools and techniques are described to create a controller wiring board. A user, using a user interface associated with a controller, can determine which devices will be attached to a controller. The features of the devices may be already known by the controller. The controller can change wiring terminal types depending on the requirements of the devices wired to the controllers. In some embodiments, a device is wired to a module associated with the controller. The controller can signal to the module to modify its wiring terminal to match the needs of the device to be wired to that location.

Abstract: A system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a computer-implemented method for saving and presenting a state of a communication session are presented. The communication session may be established between a client device and an application server of a content publisher, and may include the presentation of content on the client device. In some embodiments, the method may include receiving user input to save a state of the communication session, and in response, temporarily storing session data representative of the state of the communication session for a predetermined duration of the communication session. The method may further include generating and presenting an interface that includes a visual representation of the session data, and allows a user to return to the saved state of the communication session.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system for facilitating fast and intuitive investigations of security incidents by responding to physical gestures performed by security analysts within a virtual scene. A query triggers an alert for detecting security incidents that occur with respect to computing resources. Following the alert, the security analyst dons a Near-Eye-Display (NED) device and is presented with a virtual scene having control elements representing various data sets and/or data analysis operations relevant to a security incident. The security analyst investigates the security incident by performing hand motions to “grab-and-drag” control elements representing data sets. The security analyst may also perform hand motions to “tap on” control elements that represents a data analysis operation. Responsive to the hand motions, the system performs data analysis operations and displays a result within the virtual scene.

Abstract: While displaying a user interface that includes a plurality of application icons, a first input is detected on a first application icon associated with a first application. If the first input meets application-launching criteria which require that the first input has ended without having met a first input threshold, the first application is launched in response to the first input. If the first input meets menu-presentation criteria which require that the first input meets the first input threshold before an end of the input is detected, a contextual content object and a respective affordance that is associated with the contextual content object are concurrently displayed in response to the first input. The contextual content object includes contextually selected content automatically selected from the first application. The respective affordance, when activated, is configured to add the contextual content object to a user interface that includes information for multiple applications.
