Abstract: In the field of lids for beverage containers, an airflow cooling lid for hot beverage containers that enables the user to cool down the beverage in the container by blowing outside air across the surface of the beverage without removal of the lid. The airflow cooling lid comprises a circular cover snuggly placed over a hot beverage container having a mounting rim, a surface portion, a drinking opening in form of an opening for consuming the beverage and an exhaust opening to be used as either the intake or exhaust portal for the air drawn over the surface of the beverage. Either or both the drinking opening or the exhaust opening may be angled outward to allow the exhaust air to flow away from the face when blowing through either portal.

Abstract: A lid assembly for use with a waste management system includes a lid having an opening defined therethrough, wherein the lid assembly is configured to couple to a container. The lid assembly also includes at least one flap assembly including a counterbalance mechanism pivotally coupled to the lid and a flap portion coupled to the counterbalance mechanism. The flap assembly is moveable between a closed position and an open position to selectively obstruct the opening.

Abstract: Provided is a reservoir in which an inlet for injecting a liquid from the outside into a reservoir chamber in which the liquid is stored is provided at one side of a vehicle, a communication path that extends from the inlet toward the other side of the vehicle is provided, and a communication opening that is capable of making communication between the communication path and the reservoir chamber is formed. A surface part that gets higher from one side of the vehicle toward the communication opening of the other side of the vehicle in a state in which the reservoir chamber is mounted in the vehicle is formed at an upper portion of the reservoir chamber.

Abstract: Forming webs and packages are provided having improved sealability to peelable lidstocks. The thermoformed containers (12) may have a mouth (14) having an opening and a flange being disposed about the opening, the flange formed from a forming web and having a thickness greater than about 12 mils and up to about 80 mils. The forming web may have a base layer (20) with a skim coating (24) thereon, a portion of the skim coating being on the flange having a skim coating thickness from about 2 mils to about 8 mils. A peelable lid (18) may include a film (28) with an inner lid sealant layer (26) which is sealed to the portion of the skim coating on the flange, the skim coating and inner lid sealant layer each having a common polyolefin majority component, the common polyolefin component being different than a majority component of the base layer.

Abstract: A tamper-evident container and method is disclosed. The tamper-evident container includes a base portion and a lid (or cover). In an untampered with state, one edge of the lid is removably connected to one edge of the base portion. Namely, the lid includes a tamper-evident tab, wherein the tamper-evident tab includes a grasping overhanging portion that is flanked by at least one breakable joint and wherein the lid is removably connected to the base portion via the breakable joint of the tamper-evident tab. Further, the tamper-evident container comprises an interlocking interface between the base portion and the lid. A method of using the tamper-evident container is provided.

Abstract: A container lid locking mechanism and a container. The container is provided with a base (3), side boards (2), and a lid (1). The locking mechanism comprises buckles (6), return members (7), recesses (8), openings (11), and locking holes (10). The recesses (8) and the openings (11) are located in the edge of the lid (1), and the locking holes (10) are located in the side boards (2). Each of the buckles consists of a buckle body and a tongue (61) extending out from the buckle body. The return members (7) can enable the buckles (6) to be kept in a locked position. The recesses (8) are used for accommodating the buckle bodies. Two pairs of limit structures are disposed on the buckles (6) and in the edge recesses (8) of the lid (1). When the locking mechanism locks, the pair of limit structures (13, 66) on the buckles (6) and the lid (1) are in a fitted state to limit the buckles (6).

Abstract: This invention discloses a collapsible container, comprising a base and two pairs of opposite side walls. The side walls are provided with one or more movable portions extending from the bottom of the side walls. The base is provided with one or more opening pockets, wherein the side walls are disposed in the corresponding opening pockets on the base via the movable portions. A hinge device is provided between the movable portions and the opening pockets. The hinge device comprises: hinge holes provided in the movable portions of the side walls; a guiding device provided in the opening pockets of the base; and a connecter provided with hinge pins and a sliding device to be engaged with the guiding device. The sliding device of the connecter is movable up and down in vertical direction along the guiding device in the opening pockets. The hinge pins are disposed in the hinge holes and are rotable around the hinge pins.

The container is portable, recloseable and provides easy access to the contents. The tray includes a front wall, rear wall and opposing side walls. Each side wall defines an elongated rib. The lid comprises front and rear covering portions, a recessed covering portion and side walls. The lid side walls form grooves which receive the tray ribs. The lid is moveable in a sliding fashion in two directions between a fully closed position in which the lid is substantially aligned with the tray and an opened position in which lid is positioned partly forward or rearward with respect to the tray.

Abstract: This invention relates to a spring-loaded compartmented container that may be used to house Non-Gluten, substantially Gluten-Free, Eucharistic Wafers, and other objects. A goal of the invention is to provide relief to individuals that wish to practice Holy Communion that may have Celiac disease or other Gluten or non-gluten allergies. The compartmented container may contain an attachment device, such as a clip, on at least a side of the container which may be used for mounting purposes, a retaining plate and spring on the interior of the container which may be used to move circular objects to a forward position, and a lid mounted to a hinge that may be activated by a depressible button with a single hand.

Abstract: A depth-adjustable electrical box assembly for mounting of a fan or fixture on a ceiling including a fan/fixture box and a depth adjustment screw that is always accessible for adjusting the depth of the electrical box with respect to the ceiling. Bracket mounting screws are held captive with the assembly. A slide plate on the fan/fixture box is slideable with respect to the box. A base plate integral with the slide plate includes apertures therein for accepting the bracket mounting screws. A screw retainer, held securely to the fan/fixture box by a bracket, retains the end of the adjustment with respect to the box. Straps on the slide plate provide threaded engagement with the depth adjustment screw and enables the slide plate to slide with respect to the electrical box in response to rotation of the adjustment screw.
