Abstract: A framework for a machine-to-machine (M2M) application development is disclosed. The framework enables users to login and affect devices and applications that may interact with the devices by enabling M2M applications. The framework enables M2M application creation, management, and development of various profiled devices based on pre-defined data models associated with corresponding devices. Furthermore, the framework enables marketplace options to permit users to specify purchase options as well as to buy devices and applications.

Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating a purchase are described. A user logs in to a payment service provider site. The user provides authorization to use a one-page checkout service. The user's information is captured during the session, and a cookie is placed on the user's device. When the user goes on a merchant website and checks out using the payment service provider, the payment service provider detects the cookie on the user device. The payment service provider uses the cookie, and in one embodiment, centrally stored information, to populate the one-page checkout page with the last used payment. In various embodiments, the one-page checkout page also displays a shipping address.

Abstract: Computationally implemented methods and systems include acquiring user information associated with one or more users for use in generating one or more customized food items that are customized specifically for the one or more users, the user information to be acquired including at least one or more user preferences related to integrity of one or more food ingredients to be included in the one or more customized food items; and directing generation of the one or more customized food items for the one or more users, the one or more customized food items having been customized to show one or more visual indicators that provide customized information that has been customized in accordance, at least in part, with the acquired user information. Abstract: A method of delivering digital content for use on an electronic cutting machine. The method includes displaying at least one themed project in a rich internet application, where the themed project has at least one glyph of a glyph collection. The method further includes providing access to the rich internet application over a network and offering purchased access to the glyph collection. Any glyphs of the glyph collection can be added to the themed project. The themed project is cuttable on an electronic cutting machine in communication with the rich internet application.

Abstract: Provided herein are method, apparatus, and computer program products for facilitating a learning user interface. The interface may be presented as a plurality of dynamic icons representing a plurality of items. The interface may further be facilitated by receiving a profile identifier and by accessing, via a processor, profile data associated with the profile identifier. The interface may be facilitated by determining, via the processor, a visual bias for at least one of the dynamic icons relative to another of the dynamic icons based on the profile data and may be facilitated by applying the visual bias, via the interface, to the at least one of the dynamic icons. Multiple interfaces may be applied to the same or different screens.

Abstract: An approach is provided that authenticates, at an on-line distributor, an end user that has connected to the distributor over a communications network. One or more sets of rules are sent from the distributor to one or more vendor sites. The distributor receives vendor product data pertaining to the vendor sites. The vendor product data received from the vendor sites is based on the sets of rules sent to the respective vendors. A product request is received at the distributor from the authenticated end user. The vendor product data received at the distributor is queried using a query that is based on the product request with the query resulting in a search result that is returned to the end user.

Abstract: A method of dynamically altering a user interface based on safety level is provided. A user interface is provided to a user in a vehicle with the user interface including a selectable option to wirelessly place a bid on an electronic auction. The selectable option is based, at least in part, on an auction parameter. A safety level score is then determined for the vehicle. The auction parameter is then dynamically altered based on the speed of the vehicle, resulting in a change to the selectable option.

The social networking post can include a visual representation of the item and a solicitation for feedback from a social network. The feedback service can provide feedback relating to the social networking post. The feedback can include an opinion relating to the item and demographic information relating to an entity that provided the opinion. The feedback service can provide the feedback to the user device and/or other entities.

Abstract: Electronic gifting is performed using various devices, servers, and other system nodes on a network. A gifting server and a transaction facility server associated with a transaction facility have access to the network. A donor's personal electronic device and a recipient's personal electronic device also have access to the network. Both the donor personal electronic device and the recipient personal electronic device may be enabled with the light-simulated barcode technology and/or NFC technology. Financial systems such as, for example, credit card systems, banking systems, and loyalty card systems may also have access to the network, or may be directly accessible to the transactions facility systems.

Abstract: Various embodiments enable a customer to quickly search additional information (e.g., product variations, sizes, price and availability) related to a specific product. For example, the customer can request additional information of a specific product by submitting an image of the specific product from a computing device. In one embodiment, location of the customer can be determined based on the image submitted by the customer. Product features can be extracted from the image according to various imaging processing and text recognition algorithms and then used to match products that are within view of the customer. A search results with additional information of the specific product can be provided to the computing device for presentation to the customer.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to providing online product research. Data related to an activity performed by a consumer at a first electronic commerce website is collected. The collected data includes information about a first product, and the information about the first product is stored as product research data. The product research data is associated with the consumer. It is detected that the consumer is accessing a location in a second electronic commerce website that includes information about a second product. The product research data is searched for data related to the information about the second product. The information about the first product is located in response to searching the product research data for data related to the information about the second product, and the consumer is presented with the information about the first product along with the information about the second product.

Abstract: A consumer user can perform a number of augmented reality shopping operations using a local client shopping application executable on a mobile device. Features related to implementations of the current subject matter can include, but are not limited to, the ability to view an augmented reality depiction of a shopping display using the mobile device and to execute various “e-commerce” functions accessible via the augmented reality depiction. Visual image processing based on one or more inputs from sensors on the mobile device can be used to compute and efficiently provide the two dimensional projection of the three dimensional model to be presented on the screen of the mobile device. Abstract: A computer identifies a plurality of available network connections, wherein at least one of the identified network connections is contractually available to the computer under terms of a monthly data plan. The computer determines, based, at least in part, on characteristics of each network connection of the plurality of network connections and anticipated bandwidth consumption of the computer, a network connection to connect to from the plurality of network connections. The computer connects to the determined network connection. The computer determines, based, at least in part, on anticipated bandwidth consumption of the computer and contractual terms of the monthly data plan, an amount of excess bandwidth available for sale.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for presenting collections of items related to subjects in a performance to viewers. The collections are assumed to be identified prior to the performance by individuals with knowledge of subjects expected to appear in the performance. The subject's appearance may be detected based on a user input indicating the appearance or by a subject recognition algorithm. The collections may be presented to a customer in a display also rendering the performance or in a separate display. The customer may select the collections and/or items therein for performing an action with the item, such as, for example purchasing the item.

Abstract: A method and system for providing social media ecosystem classified listings. Plural classified listings are accepted and displayed by the social media ecosystem in plural different categories for plural different geographic locations. Social index values and social commerce connections for plural user who posted the plural classified listings are created or updated when a classified listing is viewed or a purchase is made for a good or service listed in plural classified listings. Public access is provided to the plural classified listings via plural public search engines and plural social media sites. However, communication with a user who posted a classified listing is private and to communicate a viewer of a classified listing is required to enter information to log into a private system.
