  • Patent number: 11369091
Abstract: Embodiments of a fume board are disclosed. In one embodiment, a fume board includes a fume board box, a blower, a repellant liner, and an air diverter. The fume board box has an upper panel and an open bottom face oppositely vertically disposed from the upper panel. The upper panel defines an air intake portal and an interior surface where the repellant liner is attached on the interior surface of the upper panel. The blower is configured to generate an air flow. The air diverter is connected to the blower through the air intake portal, wherein the air diverter is configured to redirect the air flow across the repellant liner. In this manner, the air flow can be provided with low air pressure but still more evenly capture the repellant volatized from the repellant liner to remove the bees from the honey super.

  • Patent number: 11350575
Abstract: A system and adjustable apparatus for applying CO2 gas to improve Cannabis production. The system includes upstream and downstream stages or subsystems. The upstream subsystem receives and stores gas, particularly CO2 gas. It monitors the environment of the downstream subsystem, determines when and how to apply gas to plants growing in the downstream system, acquires gas stored in the upstream subsystem, and distributes it to the downstream system. It also has various monitoring, command and control, management, and reporting features. The downstream subsystem includes one or more plant growth areas or plots, gas distribution means, such as gas conduits, tubes or lines from the midstream subsystem, and the high efficiency, adjustable gas applicator, and various sensing and monitoring devices communicatively connected to the upstream subsystem. Also disclosed are odor mitigation and humidity control features.

  • Patent number: 11350577
Abstract: A flexible layered fabric sheet comprising a porous front layer and a pre-seeded substrate layer, where the seeds are in-between the two layers (rather than at the back of the substrate layer), for supporting root growth, the two layers together having an upper and lower edge and being attached together with one or more non-continuous seams between the upper and lower edges, which seams have a component of direction parallel to the upper and/or lower edge, and wherein the non-continuous seams enable water to exit the layered fabric sheet at its lower edge, and the non-continuous seams further serve to slow water flow through the water sheet. The seams also serve to keep the two layers from separating which would hamper the penetration of the sapling through the front porous layer, and thus stunt growth.

  • Patent number: 11304409
Abstract: A Murder Hornet excluder is described. The excluder is made from a mesh that has openings large enough to let both queen and worker bees in and out, but too small to allow the much larger hornets to invade. It has a stepped top, two sides and a bottom that “wrap around” the entrance to a beehive. The stepped top extends the front several inches in front of the opening to the hive to give honeybees a “safe cage”, with adequate room to begin flight and descend after passing through the excluder. In a preferred embodiment, the mesh is between 6 mm and 10 mm on a side.

  • Patent number: 11291196
Abstract: This invention provides an outrigger assembly for fishing that can be quickly deployed from a portable bag about 1 meter long into a fully rigged outrigger in a selected length of 4 meters, 5 meters or 6 meters. Variable length is obtained by adding sections of telescoping pole. Quick deployment is obtained by using detachable line guides that are radially (or side) threadable in conjunction with a separate preassembled outrigger line loop for each deployed length. Different length outrigger line loop assemblies are color coded for quick identification. Stowed length and volume of the collapsed telescoping pole is minimized by the use of outrigger line guides that are removable from the outrigger pole. Threading and unthreading of an outrigger line loop without opening the loop is enabled by the radially threadable line guides. The invention also provides an outrigger holder having two sockets, one for the outrigger and one for a fishing pole.

  • Patent number: 11278020
Abstract: An electronic rodent trap and monitoring method is provided. Each trap has at least one entrance, and preferably two entrances in opposed relationship to create a longitudinal tunnel, with a pair of lower plates extending longitudinally and oriented in spaced substantially parallel relationship, and a triggering element, such as a third plate, positioned above the lower plates, and preferably adjacent the ceiling of the trap on a center baffle that also shields a bait cup. The trap is activated when the rodent, with its left and right feet on the parallel lower plates, which are preferably raised above the floor, contacts the triggering element on the center baffle. The trap is preferably modular in design with an electronics module and a tunnel module removably secured within and protected by an outer housing. The trap also has improved features for more accurate remote monitoring of rodent dispatch and kill verification including long range monitoring capability.
