Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for efficiently enriching lutein in broccoli sprouts under ?-aminobutyric acid combined with sodium chloride stress. In the present disclosure, Qingfeng broccoli seeds with plump particles, uniform size and germination ability are selected as raw materials; after removing impurities and being disinfected by a NaClO solution, the seeds are sprayed with distilled water for one day, then sprayed with a mixed aqueous solution of NaCl and ?-aminobutyric acid, to obtain broccoli sprouts.

Abstract: Plant cultivation for increasing the phytochemical content of a Labiatae plant is provided. The plant cultivation includes cultivating the Labiatae plant in a visible light environment having a dark period and a light period during which the Labiatae plant is exposed to visible light in an alternate manner, and performing treatment with UVB radiation during the light period for at least one day before harvesting. A cumulative dose of the UVB radiation may range from 0.54 J/m2 to 4.32 kJ/m2.

Abstract: A new and distinct xGasteraloe plant named ‘OVROCKS11’ which is characterized by dark green carinate foliage that is moderately to densely covered with very light greyed-green protuberances, adaxial foliar protuberances are arranged in highly irregular transverse lines, abaxial foliar protuberances are arranged in distinct transverse lines, protuberances along the distal centerline of the abaxial foliar surface that are modified into spines and arranged in a distinct longitudinal line, and finely dentate margins with very light greyed-green teeth. The new variety has shown to be uniform and stable in the resulting generations from asexual propagation.

Abstract: ‘UF22-28-3’ is a new Coleus plant with a combination of novel characteristics which include vigorous, compact growth habit and spreading plant form, excellent heat tolerance, and consistent bright yellowish green leaves. It has superior stability in foliage color in both sun and shade conditions, maintaining stable color in all conditions. ‘UF22-28-3’ is unique because it grows almost twice as wide as it grows tall, a characteristic not seen in comparable commercial cultivars.

Abstract: ‘UF22-127-1’ is a new Coleus plant, selected for having a combination of desirable traits that make it well-suited for use as an annual plant in the summer landscape. ‘UF22-127-1’ was selected for its consistent strong brown foliage color, and also for its fast growth rate and vigor in the greenhouse and landscape. ‘UF22-127-1’ has ruffled, highly lobed foliage that is predominantly strong brown with consistent yellowish green accents at the leaf margins. ‘UF22-127-1’ maintains these colors and patterns in both sun and shade. ‘UF22-127-1’ is upright in growth habit, but is highly branched and spreading in plant form, growing wider than it does tall.
