  • Patent number: 9140409
Abstract: To provide a fuel supplying device that, in a fuel tank equipped with plural accommodating portions that accommodate fuel, can suppress occurrence of running-out of fuel and can send-out fuel in a short time, even when a liquid surface of fuel of a fuel tank main body tilts. A sub-cup that has a fuel filter and a storage member is disposed at each of a first accommodating portion and a second accommodating portion. A distal end of a vapor discharging pipe of a fuel pump main body (or a sending-back pipe of a pressure regulator) is disposed within a second storage member.

  • Patent number: 9096990
Abstract: A hydraulic fitting is used to fluidly connect hydraulic hoses on opposite sides of a bulkhead of a machine. The bulkhead is clamped between a flange of the hydraulic fitting and a nut. One set of threads of the hydraulic fitting is split by a flat surface to create a cross section with a key shape that is received in only one orientation through a matched key shaped mounting bore in the bulkhead. The key shape interaction prevents the hydraulic fitting from rotating when installed in the bulkhead.

  • Patent number: 9091367
Abstract: A backflow capable ball check valve includes a valve body including a fluid flow passage and a ball seat within the fluid flow passage. A valve ball is within the fluid flow passage and is configured for seating on the ball seat. The valve ball is movable between a normal operation and backflow capable modes. A stem and saddle assembly is coupled with the valve body, and the stem and saddle assembly is configured to cup the valve ball. Movement of the stem and saddle assembly moves the valve ball from the normal operation mode to a backflow capable mode. In the backflow capable mode the stem and saddle assembly positions the valve ball away from the ball seat with the saddle cupping the valve ball in surface to surface contact, for instance according to pivoting at a movable joint.

  • Patent number: 9080682
Abstract: A latching valve is provided. The latching valve comprises a valve seal movable between first and second positions to selectively open a fluid communication path between fluid inlet and outlet ports. The latching valve also includes a first pilot valve seal movable between first and second positions. The first pilot valve seal selectively provides a pressurized fluid to a pilot control chamber, wherein pressurized fluid within the pilot control chamber biases the valve seal towards the first position. The latching valve also includes a second pilot valve seal movable between a first position and a second position. The second pilot valve seal selectively exhausts the pressurized fluid in the pilot control chamber. The latching valve also includes one or more shape memory alloy elements to actuate one or more of the first and second pilot valve seals between the first and second positions upon heating above a transformation temperature.

  • Patent number: 9067659
Abstract: Actuations systems in which pulley systems may be used as redundant (back-up) mechanisms are described. The systems provide mechanical advantage, especially useful when manual input is required to deploy a back-up mechanism. A pulley may be integrated into a clevis, a cable routed about the pulley, and one end of the cable made stationary, causing the pulley to counterbalance approximately twice the input force provided.

  • Patent number: 9046182
Abstract: A check valve includes connected first and second bodies respectively disposed on upstream and downstream sides. A valve plug is disposed displaceably in a communication chamber formed in the interior of the first body. A skirt urges a main body portion of the valve plug in a direction for seating the main body portion on a valve seat surface, and is provided on the valve plug such that the main body portion is seated on the valve seat surface by an elastic force of the skirt. By supplying a pressure fluid to the first body, the valve plug is displaced in opposition to the elastic force of the skirt, whereby the interior of the first body and the interior of the second body are placed in communication and the pressure fluid is allowed to flow therethrough.

  • Patent number: 9046206
Abstract: A gas supply device has an air compressor, a liquid-gas separator, and a freeze-drying mechanism. The air compressor discharges high-pressure gas with a high temperature and containing a liquid to the liquid-gas separator. The high-pressure gas separated by the liquid-gas separator then enters the freeze-drying mechanism for cooling. The freeze-drying mechanism has a drainer for removing water in the high-pressure gas. The removed water goes through a drain line to the liquid-gas separator to be discharged. The liquid in the liquid-gas separator has a cooling effect.

  • Patent number: 9046191
Abstract: A valve body includes a first opening, a second opening, a gallery, a first flow conduit portion, a second flow conduit portion, and an upper flow diverter. The gallery is disposed between the first and second openings. The first flow conduit portion extends between the first opening and a side opening of the gallery. The second flow conduit portion extends between the second opening and a bottom opening of the gallery. The upper flow diverter is carried by an upper wall portion of the first flow conduit portion and extends into the first flow conduit portion. In one version, the upper flow diverter includes an elongated structure extending at least partially between the first opening and the gallery for diverting the fluid flowing through the first flow conduit portion and into the gallery.

  • Patent number: 9010375
Abstract: On an outer surface of an electromagnetic valve body, a manual operation element is provided slidably horizontally, and a slide member is provided slidably in a direction orthogonal to a sliding direction of the manual operation element. The slide member is movable to a lock position and a non-lock position. At the lock position, the slide member is retained by the manual operation element to lock the manual operation element at a non-switch position. At the non-lock position, the slide member unlocks the manual operation element to allow the manual operation element to move toward a switch position.

  • Patent number: 8973608
Abstract: The amplifier includes a housing containing a chamber with a delivery outlet containing a non-return delivery valve. An inlet pipe projects into the chamber and a resilient obturator ring is engaged with and located about the pipe to be resiliently-movable in the chamber. An annular exhaust aperture surrounding the pipe can be sealed by the obturator ring, the obturator ring being responsive to fluid flow in the inlet pipe such that fluid flow causes the obturator ring to oscillate between conditions which alternately permit and prevent fluid from leaving the chamber through the exhaust aperture thereby causing a pulsed pressure increase in the fluid flowing through the delivery outlet. An adjuster is provided for adjusting the distance by which the fluid inlet pipe projects into the chamber and moves the pipe using co-operably inclined faces. The obturator ring and the delivery valve are shaped to create a venturi effect.
